Yeah his interview after the game was alarming. He sounds defiant and broken at the same time. I almost feel sorry for him but some of the stuff he says just makes me even more sure he’s not the right man.
Top 4 will stay as is but rest of league is so open. Have a good run over Christmas and go though in the carabao and things will look a bit brighter.
I need the name and number of his supplier. Sounds like they’ve got far better merch than the Albanians I use!
It won’t be Southgate. It can’t be Southgate. Although I can see Levy trying to go for a flavour of the month manager like Iraola. It’s just a shambles and everyone involved at the club is culpable in different ways
When did Spurs last have a good run? You’re looking at the beginning of last season. Since then it’s been inconsistent and getting worse.
Yeah we’ve got a concoction of bad decisions/ problems at the moment. Levy’s ballsing up as per whilst continuing to fleece fans. Ange (unfortunately) isn't good enough to manage at this level. Lange is as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I’m just fed up of being so down about them. Just trying to accept there’s nothing I can do to change it and hope that things get better.
Impossible not to get fed up, especially as all they do is let us down and fleece us for the so called privilege.
All I heard was 'thr keepers didn't have to make many saves'... Errrr...I think a Mr Forster might disagree...
The place absolutely stinks. We’re far more likely to go in the opposite direction. The fans are becoming toxic and the manager is being abused. It’s over. Ange will be gone, and the 18 month process starts again.
But we’ll never get better then. We’ll just keep going through the same process of getting rid of players signed by previous managers and bringing new ones in. Surely got to be worth sticking with someone for once? At least till the end of the season and see how we’ve ended up.
It was nice to see Carragher and Redknapp thanking Levy and telling him to do one, if professional footballers can see what the clubs problem is then maybe more fans will start to wake up. They hit the nail on the head, even that soak Merson was talking some sense (briefly).
Only if you hire contrasting styles of manager. Dortmund/ Brighton now even Pool are showing as long as your manager has similar principles but perhaps slightly different tactical tweaks, the playing personnel doesn’t need an overhaul. Levy’s ****ed Ange up the arse with no lube make no mistake about that but I’d argue there’s managers out there who’d be able to do better with these players. They’re not as bad as performances/ results are showing. And unfortunately because Levy will never push the boat for top talent, we need a manager who can elevate us above our station, unfortunately Ange isn’t showing it. I would prefer he stays and gets backed but I don’t believe that’ll happen, so the next best alternative is to twist on managers until we hopefully stumble upon another Jol/ ‘Arry/ Poch.
yep! This isn’t about my opinion of whether I want Ange gone or not, it’s about what will almost certainly happen, because it happens time and time again.
If he does go then I would go for Thomas frank or is it worth taking a punt on someone like carrick (who can probably still be our best DM as well)?
If he's had no money mind.... Chelsea spent a billion on one window ... even Eddie Howe has had 400 million in 3 years.
