I'd have Hoillet or Samba from Blackburn. I'd like Agbonlahor but I don't think he'd leave Villa for us unless we were finishing above them and challenging for cups etc.. Which, despite the MoN optimism, we aren't at this stage. He's been at Villa a long time, he loves the club, and I can see him staying there. Agree Comm that the most beneficial Villa player for us at the moment would be Warnock.

Need to concentrate on a striker and a creative CM. Then perhaps a LW and then LB, this is because with Larsson on the RW, with Sess on the LW and with Bardo/Rico as LB these positions are covered. A striker and a creative CM are not!
Id be prepared to spend it all on a forward who scores goals regularly. This season we have scored 15 conceded 15. the defence hasn't been bad and although we have created chances we do lack a little guile in the middle. Id approach Frieburg with a £12m deal for P D Cisse. If theres money left over id be scouting for centre backs as an injury to Turner or Brown and we are stuck Left back can wait till the summer for me.
I think you are getting carried away with all these players. For me it will be strikers in January and a rebuild in the summer, not a big rebuild at that.
