Should have Ali, Jota and Chiesa back at least before another balls kicked - and I’d have missed it today anyway, so not too disappointed
Oh FFS Everton! You can't even host a game without having weather problems! It would be clear skies, warm and Sunny if the game were held at Anfield! Everton should be ashamed of their poor planning of the weather.
Good. Great news actually. Think of the people's club. All those locals put out. Oh and the Australian kid who paid a fortune to be at the last ever woodison derby
I'm perplexed by this thing about naming storms. What's the rationale behind trying to give a storm an identity? It's just weather, we've always had bad weather and we just called it bad weather. Giving it a name and saying "it's coming" seems to me to be more likely to instil apprehension in people predisposed to such fears. Is it meant to make people afraid so that they'll take adequate precautions or what? The last one was called Bert, ffs - how can anyone be afraid of anything called Bert?
Don't know how true this is. "Game was set to go ahead but Everton asked for postponement around 8am this morning due to pressure from various supporter groups because of multiple A road and motorway closures in Welsh regions. Everton feared close to a third of Goodison would be left unattended if they didn’t take action. Liverpool tried avenues to get kick off delayed until later this evening but Everton’s stance on postponement was clear. Game will more than likely take place in the later months of the season unless Liverpool go out to Southampton in the Carabao Cup."
They're fun aren't they? I've always been lucky... I may have lost a few hundred trees over the years but none have fallen on anything of consequence. Hope not major damage to health or property to anyone on here.
Probably around 6,500, but I really don't know. I'm on about 15 acres of woodland way out of town... Got the land super cheap during the pandemic (less than what 1/2 an acre goes for now)
