100% this. It was sad when my dad passed away and a relief at the same time. Actually felt a bit guilty feeling that way but no more suffering for him and no more putting my life on hold as well
^^^^^ Very much this - lost my lovely cousin back in 2018 (3 weeks younger than me) after 12 months terminal diagnosis for cancer of the Oesophagus - she was incredibly brave but the last couple of months were horrendous for the family ... huge relief when there was no more pain for her...
Not my pics, but this is Longships lighthouse just off the coast of lands end. The lighthouse is 115ft tall
It's not eased off much round here. This is on the road behind my house. I've also had my back gate and gate from the garage to the back garden blown down. They were both knackered, but not ideal as the dog will just want to wander off.
Can’t really swim out there with my phone, so you’ll just have to take my word for it that I’ve done it.
Wind has really picked up here - just popped out to get an Indian and it's pissing down and blowing a gale ... Plan is to drive to Cardiff tomorrow ... weather permitting - hopefully the bridges will have reopened...
