O9 has been better than ballard this season tho, I get ballard has been injured but o9 deserves to start imo He very rarely costs us games
Tend to agree you play your best players but it’s not like we’re talking about someone like Salah who’s indispensable. If you go on a great run with player X in the team then drop him for player Y as soon as he’s fit it doesn’t send a great message to the lads trying to break into the first team if they can play out of their skin and still have no chance of starting
Of course. He was absolutely class today and my comment wasn't meant to be the end of his career FFS. Just felt he was weak and personally wanted him to step up, and was surprised to see him get bounced as much. Just my opinion. He will become a top player.
I wondered today if having 09 at centre half with his passing and covering allows Neil a bit more time and freedom in midfield. He did seem a bit higher up than in previous games
Roberts was really good today. There was a moment he seem to jack it in for a bit and Hume was paying the price with overloads. However, he stepped up and bit on the gumshield and put it in within the last 20 specially

Neither Ballard or Mepham bring the ball out of defence like 09, useful at home against teams who are sitting deep.
Nowt to do with hating him simply pointing out his end product is ****e. Watson comes in and runs at players look what happens. He’s got more goals in one afternoon than Roberts has in about 20 games this season.
His end product is canny ****e. If he had one he would still be at city TBF. His dribbling and close possession is probably one of the best in the league. Has to have some flaw to drop down to the championship and this is it.
absolutely. Bear in mind he dropped down to league one as well. He’s not a premier league player and I think sometimes people treat him slightly unfairly in that they expect brilliance from him when he won’t always be able to produce it. He’s at his level.
If 09 dived out of position to try and win the ball as much as ballard has and continues to do, he would be crucified. If we bought a 21 year old centre half from Liverpool that had a few defensive flaws but passed and carried the ball as well as 09 can people would be desperate for him to play
