There's no chance.. this manager needs replacing.. it's gone beyond stale. It's a small fry manager and coaching team and to move forward they'll have to make something elite somewhere.
Jose .... a massive upgrade on and off the pitch. The club needs to be seen to exist nobody outside this country even knows who Howe is.. I agree we'll be stuck with Howe until the damage isn't reversible I suspect.
To be fair, I think he does need to go, we’ve just reached the end of his journey with the club. We are so utterly one dimensional and predictable. This 442 that’s appeared twice when the players look utterly lost is really alarming. But then there’s variables that can either be apportioned to him or not; those inside the club will know what role he’s played in keeping Almiron and Wilson well past their sell by date, and whether he pushed for signings like Barnes. That will dictate the decision, and the club also know whether they’ve really backed him enough; the Kelly signing unfortunately smacks of Howe and we are now lumbered with him for the full 5 years which is a really poor judgement. But similarly those inside will know if he’s pushed for new signings, rejected some, and so on. I’m with chaos, I think we should turn to Jose. The football will be worse but we need to be on the football map, and we’re just not and never will be with Eddie Howe. Like the guy, he’s done well for us without question but it’s now a question of whether the owners want us to be an actual big club, or just the biggest club in Newcastle.
No players sold still made signings... the full picture he's been backed massively. He's actually got the 9th most expensive side in the world and previous managers had nothing and got ripped to bits.
Sold two players. One never played for him, the other he didn’t play. These arguments for Howe are looking a bit weak.
Last two windows we've spent money... he's had more money than any Newcastle manager ever has. Tbh looking at the last 2 is avoiding the full amount of his tenure He's had more than most managers in the league or anywhere in Europe
It's like being given 400 million and then complaining you didn't get another 400 million the last two windows. Ultimately he's still had more money than most by a long margin.
