I thought we looked ok first half, very poor 2nd - we need a witch doctor in to remove the spell hanging over us 'cos if it wasn't for bad luck we wouldn't have any at all!
Shockingly poor. No plan, zero tactics. A case of just throw some players on the pitch and see what happens. We desperately need the new man to stamp his identity on this shower.
He was by far the brightest player that we had on the pitch, he didn’t look injured so whoever decided to take him is an idiot.
They go home with a fortunate 3 points,we sink further. We had 'chances' but you couldn't rate any as clear cut. The hard work starts on Wednesday under our new gaffer, improvement won't be difficult to see considering we're rock bottom. Kudos to those who travelled out in appalling weather to witness another loss...UTT!
Get rid of the keeper (forget his name); get rid of burns (pointless) and bring in 2x forwards for firepower. That chelsea bloke we was sniffing around. You Ull
Feels like we're banging our heads against the wall in terms of how we go about trying to score a goal. We need the window desperately, Burstow is too raw and doesn't give enough for what we need right now and Bedia and Pedro will never be what we need. Loan out Burstow and end Bedias loan to make room for 2 new strikers. We need some physicality/athleticism in the team along with pace, hopefully the mentioned winger and No6 fall in to these categories. Another game much like under Tim where we look like the better footballing side but can't do what counts, I thought Giles showed that if he plays he will get assists, his bad crosses are better than most the sides average crosses. In a behind the scenes video on Tigers plus it showed Tim saying to the team, "invest 5 yards to save yourselves 40 yards". He's right and I don't see it at all from our team, the intensity to win the ball back is woeful and I look forward in hope that Ruben can change this.
That was dreadful, as for taking Palmer off unbelievable, he was the only one putting a shift in. We are in serious trouble.
Even if we do go down, I still wouldn’t sack Sellés. The manager is simply the tip of the iceberg. The players are 90% to blame for this season so far.
The most concerning part is we don't seem to be able to play a consistent 90 minutes. Despite the goal we were by far the best team in the first half, but the second half was absolutely ****e. Did we have a shot on target?
No. The hard work starts now. "There is no tomorrow" (A Selles quote / doctrine). He will be lifting and focusing them for the first training session. And for those that are despairing- remember what Joey 'the Lips' Fa-gan said: "I belive in starts" - and God sent him on a what? that's right!: A Fooking Susuki! System poo pooed ***an
I was trying to find the right word.... i've settled on SAD!!!... sad that after what looked like an upward curve we are on this downward spiral to league 1 again. Whose fault?.. the owner without a shadow of a doubt. What the new manager saw in this 'project', God only knows, the saving grace for him is that he has a ready assembled squad of League 1 footballers with a couple of stars sidelined with injury. (maybe they will still be sold injured in August next season). Every one of the 'brains team' including Alicali wants ceremonially ****ing with a rolling pin in the centre circle before the next home game, so that they might understand the pain of having to watch what has been served up this season.
