Wish we had taken some of the chances we created in the second half, but a solid win with another clean sheet, and great to be the top of the table

I think Joseph is just that half a pace short of chances, he seems to be on the back foot when the through ball comes or he's the wrong side of the defender. I hope that will come with more experience but can you teach instinct?

Tbf they’re all lacking something otherwise they’d be playing at a higher level.

Very comfortable win. done the work in 1st half then watched the game out 2nd without committing suicide run overloads going forward. That was for them to do in which they didn't do very well.

Thought wober had a decent game and besides getting on the score sheet he got forward well .... maybe junior could be a tad worried with the competition, and AO is proving to be a quality(bargain) buy <ok>... should have probably pressed on and got another couple, although their keeper made a great save from piroe...all in all can't grumble :)

Solid win, didn't think we were great but terrible conditions. Nothing to complain about really.

Bring on Boro on Tuesday, they'll come to play, should be a cracking game. I am already sweating at the prospect of Ben Doak running at whover we play left back - I've got my cushions behind the sofa and expect to spend some time there, but hopefully we see them off and derail their good run of form

I think Michael’s boredom with Farkeball has hit new lows, he was WhatsApping funnies during the first half. Didn’t think too much of it at the time, thought it was just an age thing tbh.

Good win today and decent enough game considering the conditions. Glad Kev made it (safe journey home too fella) and important he broke his hoodoo, an extra three points a season can make all the difference. Second half became a bit of a difficult watch but I said to Ben “why would our players try and liven it up, they don’t need to”.

Had to drop Jan to the station for a girls day out in London and drop some food into mum (still recovering from her stroke but maintains her Yorkshire appetite so I like to cook her something at least once a week). Military planning had me bang on time to get the tv on and open a beer before kick off but got stuck behind some w4nker in a horse box that never went above 25mph so missed the first 15 minutes. Ben gave me the swerve because he knew I was furious but it turns out I probably missed the worst of it :emoticon-0148-yes:

This league is nuts. Fat Fwank's Coventry beating the Wall at home and Bristol City and Norwich getting humped by teams at the bottom.

Sorry to read about your mums stroke. Many people make 100% recovery and hopefully she is one of those

my mum had a stroke 4 years ago, whilst riding a horse, she’s recovered really well. Got back to riding a horse. Fell off it this year and broke her hip. She’s now back riding a horse. What’s that expression about getting back on the horse? Made of strong stuff these northern women (and they don’t take a hint). Hope your mum’s recovery goes well bud.<cheers>

cheers Rog. Honestly, I’d rather she did something she loved and lived life, whatever the risks, than sat in a home and rotted away. I’m proud of her. Besides we ain’t changing the old girl in her eighties.<laugh>
