****e all around. Palmer pressed and didn't track the man who starts the build up. Then the defending was Sunday league stuff.
Portsmouth and Dramas both winning.. we currently strongest team in the division ... holding every fkr up !
I think that's why he's 'playing' - he's in the shop window. .... value down another million - I'd happily take a 2 million hit.
I was there. It was February 16th, 1971. I had to look up the actual date! I was in the South Stand. There was a small barrier, big enough for three people, on the left and we used to lean against that. I was surprised when it was abandoned. The teams went in at half time and didn't come out again. It took the announcer a while to tell us. There were no refunds either. We had absolutely coasted through the game. Blackburn were relegation fodder that year. The rematch was a complete disappointment. They defended and we couldn't find a way through. It was one of a few performances like that that stopped us going up.
By Jan it'll probably be to late, we need to change and change quickly, if it was me coming in Monday morning as the new head coach, I'd be starting a fresh new season and setting aims and targets that would see us safe for the season.... unfortunately that's our aim now, survival
I agree Hopefully I’m wrong and it was all Walter’s fault but I don’t think this team has enough in it to turn this around without a lot of new players coming in
****'s sake, nobody is playing with any conviction at all. Put your laces through it lad. Actually, Palmer seems up for it. Nobody else does.
