Perch why Perch over Simmo? Fair enough simmo sucks going forward but at least he's good at defending.

I think 0-3 Chelsea didn't reflect the game very well at all. Maybe you deserved a 3 goal victory, but something along the lines of 4-7 would've been more apt given the amount of chances both sides had!

    Quick question for Chelsea fans:

    a) How is David Luiz still starting for you?
    b) Why is David Luiz a centre-back? He is brilliant on the ball, but can't defend at all from what I've seen.

I'm just ****ing glad that **** is out of the way. Man City away, Man Utd away and Chelsea at home are all done and dusted. Looking forward to some winnable games over the coming months now.

I don't think Colo is out for that long. He may miss the Norwich game but culd be back for Swansea. Williamson is also close to returning

Cheers lads. IMHO your away support was the best we've seen at SJP this season and I wish you well.

Listening to Talksport the commentator at the match said Collo was rubbing the top of his thigh from about the 10th minute, he thinks it might have just been a dead leg.

Hopefully this will be the case and hopefully he'll be back next week.

Was a good open game and while the score was 0-1 we looked in with a shout of getting a goal back.

But once Saylo was crocked they got their 2nd and then down to 10 men got the 3rd, so really the last 2 were scored against 10 men IMO.

They deserved the win on the balance of play, but as many have said would have been a totaly didren't game had Luiz (the **** coloccini) gone off.

We've had a rub of the green a couple of times trhis season and yesterday they had it.

Swings and roundabouts, can still see us in with a shout of finishing in 7th since we still have a 10 point gap

Newcastle were robbed. Chelsea got very, very lucky, again.

  11. Even though I think the game was overall even, our fullbacks were awful, and allowed Chelsea far too much pace and Chelsea had far too many chances.

Our attacking play deserved a point, but our defending didn't

Our fullbacks were absent in defense and we had a really average CB to replace our captain Coloccini.

I don't understand how a referee making the right decision is 'brave'. It's just doing their job competently.

Luiz should have walked, but I don't think it would've changed the dynamics of the game too much. They would have still had Mata and Sturridge who were tearing our team apart. The woodwork came to their rescue three times, but then it's been our friend this season too!

We've got four very winnable games coming up in Norwich, Swansea, WBA and Bolton. I don't think we'll get 12 points, but I'm certainly looking at 7 - 10.

I said the exact same thing after we played Arsenal.

When will people realise defending is as much of an art as attacking?

    Fair play <ok>

Am I the only one who thinks if Luiz is going to play it should be in midfield?

Disagree mate, the amount of flack Foy took for getting all those decisions correct!
Refs favour big clubs, the same situation at Old trafford, Dean gives a red every time.

Have to disagree. With 10 men Chelsea would have completely altered their formation and tactics to cover for missing a central defender. Probably would have taken off Drogba and put a defender on. Guess who scored Chelsea's first.
