    Emilio hasn't taken it very well.

    You gotta give it up sometimes, if only just for dignity.

    **** you dickhead, you support a tinpot club whose manager is a squeaky voiced failed footballer. You're just jealous of MASSIVE clubs like Leicester, who can afford to spend £4m on WORLD-CLASS forwards such as Jermaine Beckford.

    Hit the nail on the head there, it's business so I don't see why you get so worked up that a) Pearson went to a club with better prospects (very difficult to argue against that no matter how biased you are) and b) that we are a bigger fish in the business pond.

    Boasting about winning is to be expected and it's not that I find annoying, but all this claiming we are doing something wrong is quite pathetic. At the end of the day we are just a bigger business with more money. All the other clubs have had this attitude towards us since last season - and what, you just expect us to say we are a disgrace to football? No, we aren't going to just accept you badmouthing our club, especially when it is quite clearly based on jealousy. You can't pretend you don't want your club to have money and you can't tell me that you are angry with Pearson for leaving whilst thinking he was a **** manager.

    Talk about Barmby being a club legend all you like, whether he's got promise as a manager remains to be seen, Nigel has picked up more points for us in the last 4 games than Barmby has for you.

    Yes we would...

    It's not because he did a good job. It's because he came to Hull and made out that he felt very appreciated and that he was extremely happy here. He spent 16 months building us a team that are now 90%+ his own signings. Then Leicester come back for him, and he leaves without a second thought.

    It's not the quality of the manager, it's the way it all panned out.

    Same as Fraizer Campbell years ago really. Made us wait and wait and wait, making out that there was a very good chance of him joining us.. but really he was wasting our time and biding his until a better offer came along. Despite the fact that we'd ignited his career.

    ...got to say well done to Hull today, better team won, Big Nigel didn't make any excuses, the sending off changed the game of course but he / we take it on the chin and move on... but have to say I'm really glad Nigel and his back room team are here, got a lot of faith in him, best manager since Martin O'Neill... good luck to Hull, good club and good team, hope Mr Barmby does you proud.... we are all in the same boat championship wise, and it get's harder every year to get out, so here's to a great campaign... COME ON YOU FOXES !!!!

    Shame, you had the chance to show class and be humble today, as I was before I saw this thread.

    Strange examples, they aren't on particularly high wages at all.

    Obviously the other bit I bolded is nazi nonsense but that doesn't really need arguing.

    Oh dear. Does that phrase even mean anything?

    Except us, and I daresay others.

    I just wanted to highlight this post for sheer hilarity. I have nothing else to say about it.

    Do you think if you say that enough times it will become true? Just because your owners are willing to waste more money on average talent right now doesn't mean they have more than anyone else. Check the rich list.

    I don't know why you're so bothered really, you previously had a manager who signed OK players on huge wages. Now you've got one who'll sign good players, ones who aren't just a great big name, but can actually play a bit. (Hopefully none of ours).

    The reactions I saw from your fans when he left was the anger of fans who were gutted. There is no way you get angry like that at a manager you don't want.

    What's more, when it was all silly rumours and you thought he'd stay you were all extremely cocky and pleased and taking the piss etc. It was only when you realised that he was going that you started with your 'er, well, we didn't want him anyway' ****, same as Leeds fans with Schmeichel. Were you a bit more consistent with your opinion I might believe you aren't jealous that he's gone somewhere else.

    If that had ever happened you'd have a point, but as this thread has comments from City fans implying that he was a good manager but ****ed us off (and that's what pissed us off), I think you probably dreamt it. I know what you mean about the TWS fans though, everyone they sell becomes immediately ****.

    Don't try and make out I'm saying this out of the blue, you asked for these kinds of comments with this stupid thread.

    I've seen numerous comments since Pearson joined saying they didn't rate him, and saying Barmby is better because it's so much more 'entertaining'.

    1. We were paying Bullard £45,000-a-week. As a Premier League side. It's not comparable;

    2. Nobody has ever taken the League Cup seriously. The fact that you've won it three times is embarrassing for a club of the size you claim to be. And yes, well done, you spent many years in the top tier, treading water and never amounting to much. Not really enviable, to be brutally honest;

    3. Saying a Championship footballer is overpaid for the job he does compared to a binman is hardly the same as saying a Championship footballer is overpaid compared to another Championship footballer;

    4. I don't mind the odd curry, but I like to make mine myself and avoid coming into contact with them...

    5. No, I was actually relieved when Pearson left. It was obvious he was never going to take us further than mid-table. He did a great job of stabilising my football club last season, so I'm thankful for that, but there was never any consistency and I certainly never had any faith that he could get us promoted, let alone keep us in the Premier League if he did;

    6. Leicester City have better prospects, thanks to the Chinaman's financial backing. It's not hard to admit that, and to be honest I don't think anyone has said otherwise. But 'prospects' are not the same as 'the here and now', or, in other words, 'reality';

    7. Your attempt at humour was very well disguised, I must say. Try a Gary Speed joke sometime, it often raises a smile.

    Maybe not, but the fact we had completely different owners then might have something to do with it...

    I didn't actually have any input on this thread. Mussie made it, you'll have to ask him why.
