Not to mention Burns and Rushworth surely being off.

Although if Rushworth is fit soon he might get a go under Selles.
 
If I were to follow a club based on heritage I'd probably be a Blackburn supporter as my grandfather's father was born there. Has a Blackburn pennant he still plans to leave me when he passes away.

General theory is Dawson will be picking the team and team will go out under his instructions.

So not sure how any of us can expect a result based on a manager bounce when he’s had no input.

Another write-off game where Selles will hopefully see at first hand the outcome when you persist with square pegs in round holes.

Putting aside the big uplift yesterday with the appointment, lets be honest today is going to be tough. They're on a massive high and were at the opposite side of that spectrum. I hope, that some might turn up and turn it up today in an effort to impress the new manager watching from the stands. The conditions might be a leveller, square pegs, square holes.

Any players that were not putting their all in for Walter will hopefully have that extra half yard pace , any other players that knew they were getting picked regardless will know they have to impress with him watching and also hopefully be that bit more focused to impress , etc .

If the weather is going to be even half as bad as it’s been in wales, surely it’s going to be called off in this day of H&S? Even on the basis of safety for travelling fans?

A typically negative way of looking at it. He explained that it didn’t work because too many teams in that division play long ball and don’t play out from the back, so the high press wasn’t very effective against them.
I’m far more impressed that he was prepared to reevaluate and change his system to something that was more successful. It’s a shame TW didn’t adopt that approach even when the writing was very clearly on the wall.
Maybe consider getting behind the new guy, at least until he’s had a few games?

You'd expect the players would want to impress the new manager at the very least wouldn't you ?
