Just hope we get the win. A good performance to go with that would be a bonus. A 5-0 thrashing would be tremendous as I think the only thing holding us back now is getting the formula right upfront. Defensively & in midfield we are strong its just getting that last part right. Hopefully if needed we make use of the bench. Anyway I will be there freezing my town halls off no doubt.
I expect us to get at them from the off. Think the players will be busting a gut for 3 points tomorrow and I firmly believe we'll get them. Main thing is, if we take the lead, we need to keep pressing for a second, but not be too gung ho. Don't give the buggers a sniff. RTB's team looks about right for me. 3-1 to the Lads and we'll see where that takes us. Burnley and Sheff Utd both have difficult games this weekend and could drop points.
FFS and that's just down the road from us as well Is it that bad up there? I'm 2500 miles south and calm here . Well not calm as I'm working the next 3 days 12 hour shifts
Bloody wimp, when you are lambing you do 21 24 hour shifts and grab 10 minutes sleep when you can, don’t know they are born man
Think the posponments take into account fans traveling in dangerous conditions just as much as being able to play in a gale force wind.
I thought I had Covid yesterday because I feel rotten but it tested negative so I'm just ill. There are weather warnings in Scotland, ScotRail are advising caution and games are being called off. My boss thinks I'm insane for even thinking about getting up at 6.30 to start my journey with three trains there and three more back. I should consider the other passengers and whether I'll pass on my illness to them for Christmas ... ... but what happens if I stay home and Rigg scores an outrageous goal or Isidor volleys home from a corner. And how could I comment on anyone who doesn't bother going when I already have my SC, trains paid for and a meal booked at the Fire Station. Not only that we've sold out away tickets for Swansea, Blackburn and Stoke at an expensive time, no public transport and difficult weather conditions. It would be rude not to go
Mental to think i was slagging him off in August and arguing on here with so many, and now wanting him to start. Ill gladly take that on the chin and stand corrected.
This is why I'm not keen to let players like Jewi, Aouchiche, Ba, etc, leave the club. Many things can be coached but natural talent is either inherent or not. Despite the shortcomings of these players they're all what I'd call 'footballers' and they don't grow on trees ... ... Jack Clarke, Amad, Ross Stewart, etc, were all written off at the start and turned out to be stars. I don't quite understand why there's always such a rush to 'get players out' as if they're costing us a fortune. Why not just let them develop, try different positions, go out on loan, etc.
