FWIW, the stuff I use is the circled organic, so not really that cheap. Personal choice, but anyone on their arse is understandably going to choose the cheaper stuff. Accept that the golden syrup stuff is particularly off the scale sweetener wise, but the other stuff not nearly as bad. And to ban that while freely allowing the likes of KFC/Domino's etc. to continue advertising is a bit of a joke. As for Jamie Oliver, tells people to not eat chicken nuggets, correctly, but says you also shouldn't eat mass produced (cheap) chicken. His target can't afford organic chickens to roast. Great idea, but falls flat right there

There was a doctor/nutritionist on the box the other week who actually called out the milk 'hoax' - he pointed out that whole milk is still a very 'low fat' drink in its own right and that any 'benefit' from semi or skimmed was marginal at best ... if not non-existant - he said that if you really want to improve your health through diet, then milk should be way down the list of lifestyle choices / changes to consider ...

To he honest, I use skimmed on the basis of its taste, not health reasons. Although it is patently less creamy than the other two, so definitely has less fat. Happy to have semi skimmed in coffee. Again, on a taste basis.
Not to mention that red and green top milk tastes like diluted milk. Making coffee with red top. You need half the cup of milk just to make it not black, then its luke warm. Anything other than blue is for pussies

My lad goes to college Tues, one of the lads in the class didn't attend, so my lad text him and said, it's an important day today, if today's work isn't completed, you won't be able to get a distinction only a pass, lad text back after 20 minutes that's unfair, my lads replies, only joking you wet wipe, yesterday lads dad makes an official complaint, his lad is still traumatised by it, so didn't go in today either. My lad gets a verbal warning and my Mrs gets a phone call, saying we know it was meant as a joke but it's not acceptable. Ffs what's this world coming to, God help the poor soul when he's out in the big wide world.
