Just seen the penalty on Sky.

Great 1st tackle by Mills but then committed the foul that the ref saw. It was 6 yards out so had to be a red card.

    No complaints from me.

Who was our MotM? I watched a stream and thought McKenna.

For them - Nugent or Schmeichel.

i admire your honesty but for a city fan, i beg the question, why wasnt the net bulging before Mills got near Mclean!

More likely it's because Dudgeon can tackle, which freed up the rest of the midfield to go for it without anyone else having to hang back.

Agree with comments, both McKenna and Evans were quality today.

Please Papa Allam give Robbie another contract, he's class, quality, a match winner and will set a great standard for the young lads.

Nick Barmby needs to get his hands out of his pockets, get a bit more vocal and provide direction and encouragement to the lads on the pitch. Nick, please show a bit more leadership.

Hobbs deserves a big big mention he was brilliant today! Really strong in the air well played son.

Daws was a steadying influence provided a calm head, although I really like Dudge it was good to have Andy back. So nearly scored and added to the attack really well.

Cam Stewart, a brilliant talent BUT needs to loose the attitude and work harder for the team! Should have squared it instead of shooting, but hey we knew you were banking on keeper also expecting the obvious square pass.

The rest of the team were equally brilliant.

Up yours Nigel, hope you enjoyed the atmosphere!

I liked the way we respected possession of the ball today; I know they sat back in the 2nd half but overall throughout the game we were a better footballing team.

Also I thought the midfield did well and worked hard, McKenna, Koren and Evans were tireless. I hope NB intends to have Oli and or Garcia available as subs soon so he can have options though. Its horses for courses and those two give us options wide and in the middle.

Stewart just keeps on beating people whoever they are. He attracts extra defenders while still carrying a real threat getting close to the goal the way he does.

Agree with your Hobbs comments, although I want to see the phuckup that was their goal on telly to see who was at fault.

Hobbs made a great tackle on Gallagher in the second half when he was one-on-one with him.

One thing I did notice in the first half was that Dawson had a REAL go at Hobbs for some poor positioning and Hobbs took it without so much of a whimper. IMHO that was not how you would expect the Captain to behave. If he'd had the balls required for leadership he'd have told Dawson to shut the phuck up!

Isn't Dawson either club captain or vice captain to Hobbs? He's the one that when Hobbs ****s something up should be telling him. I wonder if Basso had been in goal though whether it would be him and not Dawson that had bollocked Hobbs?

Its a shame Aaron didnt go on and score before he was fouled, the lad gives so much he deserves a goal and gets a lot of unfair stick on here and elsewhere, I think he would run through brick walls for us if asked

Agreed about McKenna, I thought he was outstanding

    Cameron Stewart was voted MOTM

And another random observation, did anyone notice that Burnley's bench from last week popped up on the screen instead of Leicester's?

Isn't it important to accept when you're wrong though? Being captain isn't just about screaming at everyone and being the boss it's setting an example and if you can't take criticism when it's required and constructive you're neither a team player nor a candidate for captain.

What I saw from the Tigers was a bot of a lack of patience.

Some super build up, then a rushed pass and possession turned quickly. We need to be a little more patient and not be afraid of hanging on to the ball longer if there are no options. When we did lose the ball it was often high up the pitch with most of out midfield there. We are going to get stuffed on the break like that.

What was great was that Nigel played (second half when at ten men and drawing) two solid lines of four, drilled, who sat on the edge of the box with ten yards between. They let us play for free right up to half way into their half. As mentioned above, we played along the line, sideways, for ages looking to get through.

The long balls, and attempts to slip a pass through frustration came to nothing. When they played patient, and were not afraid to play the ball backwards to keep hold and come again, we tended to find CS on the wing and he pulled players to him upsetting their regimented lines. The goal was down to constant work, and no little effort against a team there to shut up shop.

Worryingly, when defending, our lines weren't there and the midfield all over the place. Back four did well at times to hang in!

Why are these the only 2 options?! Just because he doesn't come on doesn't, and shouldn't, lead to the conclusion 'they've had a falling out'. It could have just been that Nicky wanted dudgeon to sit deep, anchoring the midfield to give a bit of protection against the counter attack, allowing CS and RK to concentrate almost solely on going forward. For all his virtues, that is not a job you would want TC doing. I found it a strange sub at the time but the more I think about it the more tactical sense it makes.

Saw the FLS last night and Koren took his goal very well, good that we have someone of that quality who can nick us a goal from out of nowhere. There was no breaking through the Leicester defence and into the box so a shot like Koren's is what we needed. Doesn't he have about 6 goals this season? Not a bad return for a midfielder in early December.
