In the heat of the moment I called him a ****. I think I and any other fan has every right to be furious with him TBH.
Maybe get out of our club is too strong but I don't think he deserves to be captain any more and I do think being forced to train with the reserves is a suitable punishment for screwing over his team mates needlessly.

The fact he's a long serving player and experienced makes it worse imo. I can see why people are sick of him. Utterly brainless to do something like that for no reason whatsoever in the VAR era.

This is what gets me, hes never been the best CB in the World but he always had a shift in him, a decent attitude and could pull out a performance from time to time. This is his worst season at Saints by a wide wide wide margin, he looks like a shadow of himself and on top of that he seems to have had a lobotomy during pre season. Bednarek and THB are both miles ahead of him and we defended better after he was sent off (it was still **** but comparatively), so Wood looks ahead of him too.

How on earth did he score 4 goals in half a season for Sheffield United last season? The idea of him scoring 8 goals in a season with us is simply unfathomable.
