The match today reminded me of the Monty Python sketch where that guy gets his arms and legs cut off. We got out first arm chopped off because we had a useless left hand side to out team, Raylor was crap and Lova was Lova, Sturridge destroyed us down our left flank whenever he felt like it.

Our other arm got cut off by Colo getting injured and having to replace him with Perch who although did as well has his ability would allow is still a whole heap of steps down from Colo quality.

Our first leg got cut off because of the utter ineptness of the ref; not giving Luiz a straight forward red card, overruling the linesman and for some reason giving Chelsea our throw in which resulted in Chelsea scoring, and just giving every decision Chelsea's way.

Our final leg got cut off by the woodwork being a complete **** today as well as Terry clearing Sameobi's shot off the line.

Our head was then chopped of when Saylor got injured.

Thought Shola was tremendous today though.

 

It reminded me that we have no defensive cover, that were basically going to struggle to get any points before Christmas and that all those ****s on TV will start coming in each others faces watching us slide down the table. The fact is we never expected to be top 7 so it's all good even if we finish 1 point ahead of Sunderland. That this seasons aim.

 

Would like to add that Ben Arfa was absolutely **** again today.

From what I saw, we held it together following the loss of our captain until the 88th minute and even the BBC admitted we were unlucky today.

 

he was a bit quiet at times but looked dangerous when he had the ball. think he was about 6/10 today, far from ****.

 

He needs time but at least he completed a few passes. Obertan was appalling and still got 90 minutes.

 

Obertan was dominated by Cole for the whole game but who could we bring on instead?

 

Wow chronicle are saying Saylor has torn his archilles. If that is the case it's season ending, maybe career threatening depending how and where it's torn. Absolutely gutted if that is the case, our season disintegrated right there if that turns out to be true.

 

benny could have played there I suppose but I think Obertan will cause Norwich problems for sure as will benny as number 10.

 

If I was Pardew today at half time I would have brought on Best for Obertan put Ben Arfa out wide on the right and went 4-4-2, they were there for the taking today and we blew it in many respects. The starting lineup was wrong aswell though IMO.

 

Exactly This! Couldnt agree more. Obertan needs his head kicked in for that performance today. Im never defending him again

Good if they said anything it would be how were ****ed again and will be sliding down the table. Weve got every chance of winning our next 3 games or at least getting a good few points. If we do we'll be sitting pretty in 7th at least.
