In fairness there is some dubious use of statistics going on here. Of the 45 companies that “left” the London Stock Exchange, how many of them transferred to another market as opposed to being taken over or taken private? According to Share Talk the 45 companies listed by Bloomberg were all the subject of mergers and acquisitions. A number of those being taken over will be because foreign investors see London as undervalued so they are snapping up a bargain while the United States is massively overvalued by an AI bubble.

In five minutes searching I found these fairly recent delistings that won’t have been in Bloomberg’s 45. The last one is a Monaco-based car manufacturer with some bloke called David Coulthard as a director.

GE Aerospace (secondary listing, still listed on NYSE)
Hyundai Motor Company (secondary listing, also delisted from Luxembourg SE, still listed in South Korea)
IBM (secondary listing, still listed on NYSE)
HeiQ (taken private for capital fund raising)
Tertre Rouge Assets plc (was a Special Purpose Acquisition Company)

The second last one of those is quite typical of delistings from the AIM market as small companies are finding that they can raise capital more easily as private entities, particularly if they are looking for venture capital in Britain.

I used to buy those magazines, liked seeing the different finds. But the writing is a bit repetitive: “I headed towards the far corner of the field then I heard a loud beep in my headphones”

More Labour MP's voted in favour of a change to proportional representation than voted against it (59 for 50 against) and it MPs voted by 138 to 136 in favour of a bill brought forward by Lib Dem MP Sarah Olney on Tuesday for a fairer voting system, but keef's obviously bricking it as his response to a question from Ed Davey asking if time will be made to debate it, the spineless one said that proportional representation “is not our policy” and “we won’t be making time for it.”

He was charged with gun and tax offences and was due to be sentenced shortly. Even a Republican attorney general said both of these charges would have been dealt with as misdemeanours if they were for any other US citizen. So yes, I think it’s fine for him to have been pardoned as it was a pointless political witch hunt.
For the supposed other crimes he has committed, including the infamous laptop, Republicans have led investigations for pretty much all of Biden presidential term, led by Comer. They’ve yet to find any evidence with all of those powers, so forgive me if I’m sceptical around any wrong doings.
Having said that, if these photographs prove he is guilty then the nonce needs locking up for a very long time.
