A few 1st teamers to help the majority 2nd string\academy yoof team I hope. But slot might want to take it seriously from the start, I was hoping he'd rest a few in the Madrid game but went with a very strong side, I reckon he's playing the kids against Accrington tho tbh
Similar - and (theoretically at least) Prem clubs should be able to field pretty good 'second strings' ... particularly those with squad depth at the levels of United, Arsenal and Liverpool* ...
Good to see you back, Adolf. Yeah, can’t see you risking any of your top 13/14 players against them, mate. Not worth the risk of injury, imo.
I’d imagine Swansea would even be resting half of their team for the fixture. Your squad depth compared to them should see you through.
I imagine we'll still go fairly strong but definitely will rest a few eg Dibling. Though of course could have a different manager by then. I don't see the point personally though. We'll still be on less than 10 points come the match and bottom place will be pretty much certain, would be better off resting everyone for the trip to Old Trafford the Thursday after.
You know we are very capable of ****ing it up against Tamworth yeh? That pitch, their 6 fans blah blah we don’t like that ****
Well done Sam and Ipswich Ipswich Town FC has defended the decision of its captain not to wear a rainbow armband in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion due to his religious beliefs. Egyptian midfielder Sam Morsy, who is a practicing Muslim, chose not to take part in the Rainbow Laces campaign during his side's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest this weekend. The 33-year-old is reported to be the only Premier League captain not to have worn the armband during the fixtures that took place between Friday 29 and Sunday 31 November. Rainbow Laces was launched by the LGBTQ+ rights charity Stonewall, with the Premier League showing its support for the campaign at fixtures this season until Thursday 5 December. Stonewall says the campaign is about making sure "sport should be a safe place where everyone belongs". The league has not made it compulsory for captains to wear the armband - instead allowing individual players to make their own choice. Ipswich Town FC has said it is "committed to being a fully inclusive club that welcomes everyone" but that it respects its captain's decision due to his "religious beliefs".
No third round replays and all the ‘big boys’ at home. ****ed up the FA cup. Was looking forward to a replay at Peterborough, my old GM has ST’s and it’s a ground I have never visited…but happy to try and sort him for a trip to Goodison.
Guehi 'warned' for writing "i love Jesus" on the rainbow armband. Players shouldn't be forced to promote things they don't believe in. **** the premier league.
Tempting to back two home wins tonight at just over 8s. Lesta are crap but new manager bounce and West Ham are totally unpredictable. Ipswich as outsiders at home to Palace I quite like.
