Some rumours that Hull have interviewed Eustace for their job. Going very well at Blackburn but their owners are shockingly bad so it wouldn’t surprise me if he left, Hull aren't exactly the most stable of clubs though.
Think it’ll be really close for the relegation places and could well go down to the final game QPR in 23rd are only 6 points behind Stoke in 14th
Be a good appointment this. Not many coaches have done a better job than Selles over the last 2 years.
Was looking at wyscout ratings again and here is the top 3 in each position based on stats: GK Cooper - sheff utd Trafford - Burnley Pears - Blackburn Patterson is at 6th RB Van Ewijk - Coventry Coyle - Hull Dunne - QPR LB Doyle - Norwich Cirkin O'dowda - Cardiff Some of the fullbacks play as wingbacks but it doesn't split them. Doyle has played more at LB than LCB that's why he's included here. Hume was 6th best RB. LCB Darling - Swansea Struijk - Leeds Clarke - Boro RCB Rodon - Leeds Egan-Reilly - Burnley Souttar - Sheff Utd O9 was 7th overall so was next man up for both RCB and LCB CDM Brownhill - Burnley Hackney - Boro Saville - Millwall Neil is 17th CM Clark - Luton Barry Bannan - Sheff Wed Jobe AM Azaz - Boro Lang - Portsmouth Aaronson - Leeds Rigg is 6th The 3 CMs positions are never that accurate as some of the players aren't regulars in the position they are under. Brownhills for example is usually a CM rather than a CDM. RM Gnoto - Leeds Roberts Esse - Millwall LM Sainz - Norwich Hamer - Sheff Utd Grant - WBA Mundle is 4th best LM, he was no2 until his injury CF Maja - WBA Chakvetadze - Watford (usually plays as a 10 or winger but he's showing under the CF option) Cannon - Stoke Isidor is 18th Make of the above what you will but I know some quite like this type of stuff
Cheers for this. A few surprises in there. Roberts being 2nd at RM jumps out - is he more effective than many of us realise and why/how ? Also shows that we aren't knocking it out of the park this season imo. More to do with our (previously) clinical finishing and organised team defence.
Surprised Wilson is so low and the rest are about right Roberts slightly high but he did start the season well and his dribbling starts are always right up there
It's due to his start of the season I reckon, dribbling figures are high A lot of these are based on stats and we know stats only tell a part of the story Possession based defenders will always rank pretty high due to the number of passes they make per game, if a CDM scores a goal they jump up the list quickly as well
Two of the form teams in the division so should be a good game. I think Boro may edge it but Burnley just don't concede goals so really hard to predict.
I've wished we had got shot of a lot of players in the past but not the current lads. Roberts has been below par but his attitude has remained spot on. Hope he's back at it tomorrow.
He's such a skillful player just the end product is lacking, reminds me of Sessegnon (I know that will annoy a few) who many fans loved as he was ridiculously talented but again his end product was pretty dire most of the time.
