I’m all for it now, they’ve been utterly embarrassing for years even whilst breaking the rules and then to go into this season with Ashley Young still at RB <laugh> Deserve everything they get

Someone always falls down the table and someone usually just wins a few and zooms up the table

It will almost be a shame when they do. I miss the friendly rivalry (not the toxicity from them now), but most of all, I will miss the Everton drop watch each year. The will they, won't they drama at the bottom of the table.

I think they'll survive this season though.

It will only take a little run of 3 or 4 games to pull away again.

Southampton have not yet changed coach or approach

Ipswich can't defend really, doing ok.

    Wolves still under massive pressure.

    Palace are inexplicable

Arsenal v Man U, 2nd game out of the bag for 3rd round of the FA Cup
Man City get the easy draw of Salford City at home

We're at home to Accrington Stanley (whoever the hell they are <laugh>)

    Chelsea at home to Morecambe
    Spurs travel to Tamworth

The match is sandwiched between games against Man Utd and Notts Forest, so hopefully our squad players drink their milk so that they're good enough to play against Accrington Stanley.

No chance Everton go down this year imo. Think it'll be the 3 promoted clubs again.

Wouldn't surprise me if they did in first season in new ground though.

Remember when you lot got st Mary's, didn't you go down?

West ham have never really settled imo into thr London stadium

Arsenal at the Emirates was slightly different I think as I recall the north end of Highbury being closed for 2 seasons rebuilding that so they were well used to being useless fans. ;)

They missed up the fans and broke up ends at West ham.

Spurs in fairness took to the new stadium well, they were well used to traipsing round to Wembley and booing their own players. They finished 6th but it opened the summer before covid so they had a lot time to get used to the toilet bowl.

Yeah it took us 4 seasons though and we had a top half finish plus reaching the FA Cup final in between.

Struggling clubs definitely lose something when the leave their old grounds though.

hmmm. I thought it was always a complain that the athmosphere compared to the dell was poor, thats a long time after moving in.

Roker park to the satidum of light is another example. they got relegated before moving in though.

Boro is before my time to recall ayresome park really. That riverside stadium is as dull as dull can be.

the thing most of these have in common is they areall very similar looking kind of places, generic.

I think its more to do with the location and how you move than necessarally the look of the new place.

I'm sure everton fans will be able to boo thier own team in massive comfort at bramley moore. I beleive they even built in some restricted views for those who wish to pay extra.
