They cannot accept the gulf in class; but that is their problem. Just heard Mr Boring@NP rambling on like a deluded pensioner in the post match interview. Thank god we don't have to listen to stuff like that anymore (until the return game!) It was just like having anaesthetic.
We were the better side, but they made it difficult and if the roles had been reversed and we'd come away from their's having lost late on after putting in that defensive performance with 10 men we'd have been feeling sorry for ourselves. When Koren scored today it was hardly the same feeling as the Watford game, that was relief and a sense of justice, today I just had relief.
Leicester have a good squad and their goal was a smashing finish. However, even with eleven men on the pitch their overall play was disappointing - particularly poor distribution at the back and little evidence of a cohesive team approach. This is a close division and it's hard to predict playoff contestants but I've seen several teams already who look a lot stronger than Leicester and I imagine their chances of promotion are remote. I suspect that there are going to be a good few disappointed Foxes by May unless they have a big turnaround.
Erm did any of the people accusing their fans of being deluded actually read that thread? Its a LOT calmer and balanced than anything you see from us.
i didn't get a clear view of the red card and the only thing true is that it changed the game... but they parked the bus with 8 men in their box. they got what i think was lucky goal, against run of play. had that goal not gone in they would not have had this expectation and hope of getting something out of the game. we battered them and fair play, they defended and we were pretty clumsy at times (wrong decisions with the ball for the likes of stewart and mclean) but they didn't deserve anything. deserve is when you have a real go. they didn't
Leicester did what NP does well, they were solid and defended well. I remember very few attacks from them, maybe losing Mills affected that but I think the best team won on the day and it was a good team performance. To be fair the comments I've seen on here tonight from Leicester fans have been sensible ones which is good to see, though clearly it's not the case elsewhere!
No I thimk that like all fans they will always blame the ref and anything else but their team if they lose. They cannot accept that another team can out play them.
God bless Andy King's Chicken Nuggets The guy has so many screws loose http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/105924-Give-it-5-minutes... He's that bitter about losing today that he's already insisting he doesn't care as they'll beat us in the return game.
Other than AKCJ, who is quite obviously thick as pig ****, I've been quite impressed with the Leicester fans today, they've been quite gracious in defeat.
They obviously preempted this, there's no other reason why I would have been banned. I would be having such fun on that board right now as well
Nugent looked good but doesn't flourish on his own up front (whereas I thought Beckford might, and should have been brought back on really for Nuge). That was the point that made me laugh from that link Also, half the ground does not understand the offside rule
Glad you mentioned that, a few idiots near me were ranting about Gallacher being offside froma goal kick. Think even Hobbs and Chester thought so too!! Thick fukers. I had a bit of a stand up with one a few rows back from me. Still didnt believe it.
