I did. Disagree with what you’ve said

You don’t need to score when you’re winning a game, you do however need to not concede to see out the win. Changing the tactics or dropping deeper would be good game management.

And yes it’s always possible to concede a goal, but surely when winning you do your best to negate that threat.

No. You do the stats and play in the way that maximises the points. Neither of is has any idea which is best because we don't have the stats. As usual you are the one who is claiming to be right despite having no evidence.

I’m not saying I’m right, I’m just giving my view as are you.

All I’m saying is that when you’re winning a game, you should your best to not concede and to see the game out. To me that’s game management, to relentlessly attack gives the opponents a bigger chance of equalising.

I guess the difference between us is that I don't criticise our manager based on a 'view' unsupported by evidence. I don't value opinions that are not evidence based.

You’re getting personal, that’s not allowed on the Spurs board so I’ll refrain from replying how I’d like to even though it’s tempting to be very personal back <laugh>

You clearly don’t like my views, here’s a tip for you- just ignore me pal

I didn't mean to be personal...just stated a fact. You normally repeat my statements with laughing emojis and I do just try to ignore those.

That's not true. Rangers are above us, so beat them and that's enough. Plus Frankfurt play Lyon, Ajax play Galatasaray and Lazio all of whom are top 8. So 3 wins and we finish 6th at worst.

I've got a huge amount of respect for Davies and really love Micky. Kulusevski and Sarr are also starting to find fond places in my heart.

But yeah, aside from those I just don't feel much affinity to any of the players. Wouldn't lose much sleep if they left the club.

I'm not entirely sure what it is or what is needed for fans to feel closeness to particular players. I think it goes beyond sheer passion or hard work. There's a certain personality that's needed with it too imo that matches the historic vibe of the club and its surrounding community.

    Son

Not Werner. He's more a source of comedic pity. Like Richarlison.

I find a large part of what makes fans love players isn't them being good, but them being endearingly crap at something

Case in point, it wasn't the hat trick against Asteras that secured Harry Kane's place in our hearts, it was him going in goal after Hugo got sent off at the tail end of the match
