Been saying it for weeks. We don't look fit enough. Which is unforgivable really. When you lack quality you have to do the basics well.
Armstrong definitely tried to back heel/scorpion the ball as it went past him, and he definitely was offside. From a defending teams perspective the keeper would’ve not just gone all the way across the goal like he would have if Armstrong wasn’t there and maybe he saves Archers shot if that doesn’t happen. All ifs and buts of course but I think it was the right call as Armstrong was interfering with play. I also didn’t realise at the time that the Lino had flagged for Armstrong being off which increases my opinion that it shouldn’t have been overturned As I said the problem is that I don’t think it gets disallowed if that’s Arsenal/Liverpool etc scoring. I don’t remember the Arsenal goal that was apparently very similar that stood but that backs my view up
Here’s the Arsenal one that was given. 23 was offside and jumped for the ball but missed it, 11 was onside and scored.

Yep and that should have been disallowed as without 23 challenging for the header Ramsdale could have taken a further step to his near post and been in a better position to save it.
There’s an argument to be had either way for and against that being offside. They either should both be allowed or both disallowed though. That’s the real issue imo, that and how long it’s taking them to decide. Two similar examples, two different outcomes but both have gone against us.
Said it loads before but I'd just prefer offside to be offside. If you're in the penalty box then you're impacting the play 95% of the time whether directly or indirectly.
It's a shame that only Wolves were willing to take the plunge on scrapping VAR in the summer. A huge missed opportunity.
The way he carries the ball is ridiculous. It’s rare to see someone be able to beat men as consistently as he does at PL level and the fact that he is only 18 is incredible really. Obviously won’t be here long, and a shame that we are having such a **** season overall in likely his only one with us, but still been great to watch him individually
