Seriously mate, we don’t know that, it’s not that simplistic imo. Aouchiche was finished, according to many, yet he played last night. Realistically you don’t know who you can trust until they play in a game. You could say Tommy Watson wasn’t trusted, now it’s possible he is. There are others who may yet play a vital part, who knows.
Not long home. Head is full of drummers somehow. Started reading this thread but soon gave up. Some mad arguments breaking out. Class in our end last night. I need to do more away games, no whinging about individual players amongst those lads. I thought we were really good first half. We had brilliant control of the midfield with Jobe and Neil dovetailing great. The penalty miss was a massive blow, we deserved the lead up until then. Watson was giving them nightmares. What a player he could be mind. Then the red knackered us. Not seen it back but at the time it looked a naff tackle but the player had checked away from goal? Probably a red? We seemed to lose our way a bit after but rallied second half. Thought we started great but the game seemed to peter out until right at the end. Mistake by Alese was it? Canny goal though from Davies. Not easy to judge with about 7 pints of ale om board. But I thought Watson was class. Jobe was quality. I have to say I am not as taken by Isidor as some. His link up play, and back to goal stuff isnt good at all for me. He needs to use his frame better to give us a platform to play from. Mind you, we arent very creative in the final 3rd and he seems alive in the box, if we can get it to him. Roberts wasnt great imo. Anyway, onwards we go. Last 2 performances been good for me. Need to keep focussed on that, and refining as we go. We dont need a revolution in this side, we need some tweaks and a bit of dynamism in the final 3rd. Watson could be that if we keep giving him the ball. Now for an asprin and a cuppa. Took on allotment this week, needs some graft to be ready for spring, so might go and start that and let the fresh air do its work. Might take a non league game in as well. I might be reading you incorrectly (sorry if I am), but he will be gutted, as will 'his mate' 'cos he let the team down, but you don't seem like you will be, 'cos it gives an excuse to whinge about/pick on him
