I almost feel at times Isidor has scored wonder goals to keep his place, but we're actually less as a team without Mayenda. Agree midfield lacking. But not allowed to mention that mate
No chance, Neil is the easy target but he does so much of the dirty work for the team and he was good tonight. He had a couple of very dangerous moments though and he has to cut them out his game if he's to go to the nxt level I totally agree we need a CDM to challenge or replace him at times but I like Neil and Jobe as a 2, teams really struggle to play through us when they are together
Nothing wrong with seeing where the problems are .. We were the better side but just like the last time they went up they were functional and found a way to win . They aren’t a great footballing team .
The movement is so predictable in the final 3rd for us, hopefully this will come as the season progresses Hopefully this is our bad patch and we kick on over festive period and into.the new yr
We have only lost 3 before december. We have not been outplayed once. Some were predicting a relegation battle. Instead we have found ourselves with multi million pound players, pushing for promotion. I can understand the frustration, but i cant understand the complaining.
You know it's OK to admit you were a tad harsh to jump just on my posts. After all, 10 posts in about a year saying someone is negative is a bit harsh on them
Rigg needs a rest (2 or 3 games), Roberts needs dropped, Mepham and Ballard have to be first choice centre back pairing when fit, 09 not a champ level fullback, we need better cover if he is the next best option. Mayenda back up front as soon as possible for me. Wouldn't be against an addition in attack in jan if we can.
.agree but we are not are we. 1 win in 7 shiss No. I want to build a team to get promoted. I am still certain in those games that you call dominant ( West brom and Sheffield Utd) not a single save was needed from either keeper. That's not my dominant and it's also why we lost. We have this perception that the nice football deserves a win. It doesn't. Efficiency does. Not making stupid mistakes like today does. I know the club looks at this and won't be happy with our form , possession or Xg either. Hope they sort it in the Jan window to move forward.
We have 2 at the club but the one we were all excited about, Sameh, has been injured the whole time Neil has shown he can play CDM, folk might disagree whether that's his best position or not and that's fair, but he can play CDM
No where near. Least I raise points with factual data behind it. I think some on here would be happy their missus took a length to get some Xg to prove me wrong.
The run of away games, suspension, injuries and the 3 games this week always looked tough and so it has transpired. December looks like we could get back on track with more home games, and opponents who on paper we should have more joy against. I just hope the atmosphere doesn’t turn toxic if we don’t start fast next week - perspective of November seems hard to come by!
Don't have to be pal. Just find a way to win. Which we don't have that skill and it's going to bite IMO.
Not sure who you're on about, you've made 100 posts in last week and I've made a lot more than 10 also in last few weeks at least. But hey ho, just think people should be allowed to express an opinion on football. Anyway neither of us want to prolong/hijack this so will agree to leave it there amicably.
How many championship midfielders could drop back into the middle of defence like Neil is being asked to do? He has to hold the midfield, drop into the back 4 when the full backs are bombing forward. It's a big ask
