Overall we were the better side, just but we still aren't creating enough clear cut chances for my liking 1st half was probably the best we've played and play like that against most other teams and we smash them. Plenty of positives to take from tonight: Watson was really good, seems to be growing in confidence by the game Jobe and Neil controlled the game when we were 11vs11, the 2 of them were class then. Neil still decent in the 2nd half bar a couple ridiculous decisions. Hume was really good, nothing came down his side at all. Negatives Isidir has got to offer more with his back to goal, he is too easily pushed off the ball and he doesn't use his body. Once again zero impact from the bench, it's a worrying trend for me and it was the big reason we lost tonight. Roberts is so out of form, he offers nothing at the minute. I thought he started the season well but last couple of months he's back to the player off last season. He offers zero goal threat and he's not even creating chances for others. Rigg needs a break, I thought he was really good when 11vs11 but he struggled in the 2nd half and should have been brought off before watson. I an worried about our performances dropping in the 2nd half Really not sure why Neil was getting the blame for the goal, never ever his fault, Rigg and Alese have got to deal with it - don't want your CDM getting drawn to the ball in that situation January us massive, we need a CM and a winger for sure I still think 4th is the best we can finish this season, just feel Leeds, Sheff Utd and Burnley have too much for us over a full season Playoffs will still be amazing
No. Just staying literal facts. You can check if you like. We can not keep sharing we are unlucky man. How many more games do we not test the keeper and cry on here.
it’s never somebody from the losing side. If I had to pick a man of the match it was probably Hamer. It does show that we deserved something from the game that they can’t find a Sheff Utd player that had a good game to give it to so lumped for the keeper for a clean sheet when he barely saved anything.
Yeah, I thought 45 - 65 we looked most dominant. Let it slide after then, was screaming for subs, but thought Watson should have stayed on.
I think the same Yes he saved Roberts penalty but that was totally **** anyways but since none of their outfield players stood out against youngsters who apparently aren't good enough for some who else could they give it to?
Aye good point. Their keeper had nothing to do. Man of the match on sky for his distribution, and not for saving a penalty
I'm not ok with Roberts now. He's our worst 'starter' by some distance in my opinion. Can anyone seriously tell me what he offers us? The numbers tell us that his dribbling isn't even that good.
Not facts, opinions We were the better team tonight, but did we do enough to win - probably not but sheff utd were not better than us tonight
What facts? We just more than matched a team who many have as promotion certs. I should really reply as for some bizarre reason @TeamOfTalents only calls me out when I comment on your posts. Maybe I have lower standards than you but we deserved a point at least tonight
Mate come on. You're not that think. One pen save. He didn't make a single other save. When keepers get it, it's normally worth the graft. Let's not be bloody silly now.
You’re all desperate for my player rating aren’t you. Ok, here you go. Patto - 8. Hume - 7 O’Nien - 7 Mepham - 6 Ballard - 7 Neil - 6.5 Rigg - 6 Jobe - 8 Roberts - 5 Watson - 7.5 Isidor - 6.5 Alese - 5.5 Mayenda - 6 Aouchiche - n/a Connolly - n/a
I don't think we were. Possession was equal. Our keeper was busier than theirs. They deserved the win.
