Morning all. A couple at Newbury I’m interested in today. Personal Ambition and Lord Baddesley. PA won a grade 2 hurdle at Kelso in the spring but looked a big ol lump which chasing would bring the best out of. Came 2nd in a 2 horse race lto to a higher rated oppo but will hopefully strip fitter today. LB failed to spark lto in the Badger Ales but did get badly hampered and I reckon this trip is probably more his forte. Both around 8/1 so ew singles and ew barney rubble. Good luck all.
12:55 Doncaster - Whatsyourproblem e/w Class-4 Maiden Hurdle over distance just short of 2m5f on good-to-soft ground Selection probably needed race LTO, and also may well improve on today's better going? Jonathan Burke rides for the Fergal O'Brien stable 11/1 (Wm.Hill) best price early-doors, on the ATR site.
Just catching up with the replays from Newbury and I must say the 2 novice chases were really spectacular to watch. I think we have seen 2 smart winners in Kalif Du Berlais and The Jukebox Man in particular - the way he took the last 4 fences up the straight was a sight to behold. Does your heart good to see
Ran well to finish third at 7/1 SP. No chance with easy winning favourite, Moon Rocket. Happy with the early-doors price for the e/w. .
Won at 17/2 SP. Sorry, had very little time to do a decent post, apologies for being so late. Turned-out to be a real stamina test and Hermino AA really toughed it out to prevail. A fine ride from young Freddie Mitchell for the Gary and Josh Moore stable, and the winner's connections.
