video of both clubs tributes to a great man. Not much more can be said apart from Rest in Peace Speedo.
Wow, Carver was in absolute pieces there. We're doing more at our next home game as his widow wanted to be there for it. Rest in Peace Gary Speed.
The Swansea game will be the real send off for Gary. A celebration of his life as much as a sending off.
It still seems unreal to me, every time I see a picture of Gary Speed it reminds you what a huge loss he is.
Two good tributes, our best is to come though as AB said. Also did scarf waving, clapping, chanting for minute on 11th minute.
Tough day today... Left my yellow top man shirt at Billy's statue then in the ground it was electric.. The tribute video made the tears roll down my cheeks... Seeing Batty,Macca and Strachen was also tough and then we just lifted the roof off... At the 11th minute for 11 minutes we did Speedo proud... Then finally the team stepped up and delivered... Farewell Gary Speed a true Leeds legend
And Newcastle legend if he hadn't of scored against PSV we may not have got to our European Semi Final and if he hadn't scored against Dynamo Kiev we would never have had the memorable Champions League campaign RIP Gary Speed.
I thought that was part of the reason it looked so good. The scarves were dotted fairly evenly around but there was enough of them to make an impact. Looked fantastic from up in the Leazes.
Best time to have it, when both sets of fans will be as one in their praise of a great ambassador and servant to each club. Should be a great atmosphere.
