Just got VIP tramlines tickets for next summer. Only really wanted to see Pulp again, but some decent others on over the weekend and it’s on my doorstep. Plus no camping needed.
Yeah me too, although I'm having a glass of red, not water, and will watch United first. Had a cortisone injection in my elbow yesterday. Once the anaesthetic bit wore off, it absolutely ****ing kills. Kept me awake half the night, almost unbearably painful. So much for a decent hotel kip! Am knackered, and it still hurts to ****.
I feel ya pain Bit broken today after a Christmas market yesterday. Was up at 5am, didn't get back until 11pm. Just hard physical graft lugging boxes and equipment around, setting it all up, trading for 12 hours non stop, then packing it all down, back in the van, driving home, unpacking it all and cleaning everything down Was aching like a b'tard when I got home. Thinking I should have done this job in my 20's and 30's and got a nice easy desk job in my 40's and 50's lol Anyway, more of the same tomorrow so here's to that glass of red (water for me) and off to hit the hay.
****in sick. I took a bit of a slap early hrs Sunday morning went to drs cos ribs were hurting and she said how long I had that lump. I said what lump. Then she showed me. Referred to hospital for bitopsy. If need to do incision and stitches 2 weeks recovery if non invasive then 24-48hr. Supposed to be going aaay next Sunday. I forgot it was the Black Friday Sales today, which tied in with Christmas coming, means traffic hell. Nearly crashed my car in the process, I was trying to manoeuvre out of a tight spot and I don't know if I got the pedals mixed up or my foot just slipped, never done that in my life, so I suppose that means I'm officially old now and shouldn't be driving lol. I actually wore a cable jumper out today with a t shirt underneath, so that means it's now cold down South, which is probably warm to a Northerner. No coat required in either.
