Does anyone go for the winter Covid/Flu jabs? Im being contacted weekly by the doctors about going for them because I’m at increased risk of a serious illness. Does anyone bother with them? I would usually just get them but the scare stories are starting to scare me lol
Morning. Trains all over the place due to flooding on the line which is understandable as it’s not a country used to rain to plan for these things.
I also get the Covid texts and invites due to a previous 'condition'. I've never bothered though. I'd have a flu jab if it was convenient to go get one, but not a Covid one. I don't think I've even had full blown proper flu tbh.
Got a seat easily at my station. Now I’d say we’re at the point it’s dangerous and if the thing crashed we’d be talking dozens of deaths. Probably not me though so all good and I’d only miss a meeting if it did so bring it on.
Yeah I get loads on the NHS app but no relevant conditions or anything so assumed it gets sent to everyone. It depends what your ailment is but I’d take the flu jab if I were you. **** the covid off.
I get the Flu jab as does the Mrs .The flu jabs have been around for yonks so i would ignore scare stories about it.
Cmon now, it's 2024 I can wear a dress in public and everyone's too scared to call me a ****, no way "man up" is still a thing.
I've been to Key West and you can see plenty of men wearing dresses, but generally they are at certain bars or during carnival, it's accepted and there are no problems. But some guy turning up to a pub in Wales in a dress, that has to be seriously risky for his health - either that or Wales is way more laid back then I ever imagined it....sunshine state I sort of get it....wet wet state....no way.
I’ve an autoimmune disease. It was diagnosed about 8/9 years ago but the last few year it is starting to affect me with certain things now.
the flu jabs change each year as they are tailored from the "basic " to combat this years expected flu variation .
Like I've said there's a bloke in my local who wears women's clothes nobody bothers him and he does the Quiz on Wednesday.
I have the flu jab, have since I had the flu about 20yrs ago, I was really ill with it, had it once since and was no where near as ill or for as long. I was diagnosed stage 1 COPD back in Feb and was advised to make sure I always get it in future too. Always refuse the covid jab.
