From 6000 miles away I can hear "how s*** must you be, we're winning a game" It seems there will be zero credibility as the performance is gash.
Did anyone see the attendance? Fewer than 1,800 souls at the Pirelli this evening. Sad times for Burton.
Awful, awful performance, the win should fool nobody. We are going nowhere fast. My bet was more a negative one against Burton than a positive one for us.
A win away is always welcome but views on here and CL suggest nothing changes, and the future is bleak. A plus is if we can beat Crawley we can move further away from the relegation spots.....but still a gap wider than Ivor's waistline from the play-offs.
Aesthetically, it was one of the worst Charlton performances I have ever seen. Nathan Jones is really starting to grind my gears. “We controlled the game, difficult place to come, we had 25 shots” etc. I think it’s inconceivable he’s going to be successful with us, there is just something about him I can’t warm too. And his football is crap.
Whipping boys Burton, down to 10 men. Anything other than a win would have been utterly unacceptable. And from what I hear this was one of the lowest-key, most underwhelming wins in our history. No cause for celebration. Just a little relief that those 3 points may help us stay in the 3rd tier.
A really worrying trend has started where I am agreeing with Reams. I don’t think we should be fooled by last night’s win. It was truly awful. I couldn’t believe how bad Burton were. Let us hope that it has given the squad a bit of confidence and we can play a bit more football.
I've noticed something similar, except in my case I find myself increasingly in agreement with Donald Trump I would probably be agreeing with Reams more as well, but I don't visit ITTV. Trump is harder to avoid than Global
