No wonder the extreme left are whining like bitches yet offering no meaningful content. The **** ups from Labour are relentless.
i think assisted suicide should be available to anyone over the age of 25, not just old duffers at deaths door
To a large extent it already is, it's just often described as paliative care. The current push is purely finacially driven. Just have a look at who is putting a hell of a lot of money in to promoting it.
im talking about no illness tho, just available to everyone a pain free opt out of society for sub5s, inhumane to force them to work for 50+ years
^^^^is there no subject you won’t comment on, without a ****ing clue what you’re talking about. Care workers in hospitals and hospices do an incredibly difficult job looking after people in the last few weeks and days before they pass. At no point is it assisted dying. You’re a ****ing embarrassment…clown
I think this is open to interpretation, tbh. My old man’s final weeks were brutal. That’s putting it nicely. The carers gave him the morphine and a good dose of it knowing it would bring his death earlier. That wasn’t spoken about literally between us but it was done in a way that we knew it was the best option for him. I was all for it.
I've experienced very similar on a number of occasions, and have heard of plenty more from close friends. The care workers were excellent, and realy lived up to both aspects of their job title.
I’ve been in the same situation as you and your dad, morphine was administered in large doses. However, that’s a million miles away assisted dying. I will also add that my wife and I are currently going through it again with my mother-in-law. Like you the last few weeks have been brutal, my MIL has terminal cancer. My wife’s cousin is also the chief nursing manager at a local hospice. I’ve seen first hand the toll It has taken on her.
