I didnt say dont care, I suggested people would be better not getting so angry about it. Genuinely it is a serious risk to your health getting angry over stuff that you cannot control the outcome of. Complete waste of energy.

Its ok to be disappointed and have a reasoned debate about it but as you will see on here and social media there are people who you can just tell are raging. I saw them at the game tonight. Very strange behaviour.

No support? There was over 21,000 there tonight.
On a freezing Tuesday night to watch a team who have only won three home games this calendar year.
I hate to hear our fans booing and calling for the manager to be sacked but what does he expect? He was the one promising to bring exciting attacking football etc etc.
He doesn't exactly install confidence from the touchline either with his arm waving and water bottle throwing antics.
And we have given Tim something, we gave him a job and a chance to prove himself in the English game. He knows the score, he takes the money, and he will not shed a tear or thought for Hull City if he is sacked tonight because he will be well compensated.
It's not the players who are letting him down either, its the way he sets them up to play, the magic formula that he believes in, the one that obviously isn't working, and he picks the players anyhow. The old saying is true, if you don't like the heat then get out of the kitchen.

Saying he should be spared after 1 game because you "felt sorry" for him is stupid.

I feel sorry for him, but I still want him to be on Acun's private jet with a 6 figure payoff ideally this evening. I'm sure his family will cope.

I get that, but it’s difficult to feel passion when you don’t feel anger if it’s being mucked up?

    There’s a line though, I appreciate

Was it the late, great Bill Shankly who said: 'Some people think football is about life and death. I assure you its much more important than that.' ?
Yes, there are far more important things in life than football. We all get emotionally charged in the game. Very happy when things are going well, but angry and down when things are not going well. For the record I for one never boo or follow the sheep with the 'you're getting sacked in the morning' BS. It serves no purpose, whatsoever and the bloke on the receiving end is a human being.
However, if you pay to enter the stadium and don't like what you are witnessing then you are entitled to voice your opinion.

I agree with the vast majority of your post, football is not life or death.

I feel a bit for him tonight,it's not nice seeing a human being subjected to flak from all directions but ultimately be looks out of his depth...I think he knows that?

Maybe some fans haven't gave him their full support, maybe some fans are still smarting from Roseniors exit, maybe he himself hasn't put in the required effort to bond with the support?

Flip side of the coin is...Our owner doesn't come out of this smelling of roses either,he sold him short in the transfer window and we're now seeing the fruits of that laid bare in abject performance after abject performance, the recruitment side has been p!ss poor.

Maybe he should've made his way down from the stands tonight and gauged the feeling, after all,he has accepted the blame for the current situation.

It seems to be very difficult for a lot of people Drew, that is my concern and why you cannot drive a few miles without seeing a road rage incident taking place. We have just become a society of people who cannot contorl their emotions it seems. And I think Tim was simply trying point out that people need to consider if City losing to Sheffield Wednesday is really that important in the greater scheme of things. Its probably not the most important thing to be going on in most of the crowds lives this evening.

The owner is the absolute problem here, he has made a complete mess of the transfer window and appointed a guy who was signing players based on what was in it for him....alegedly of course.

It is very difficult for Tim to bond with supporters that are criticising his every move.

No matter if City win, lose or draw, play well or play terrible, I can always sleep soundly knowing one thing: that I wake up in the morning and at least I’m not you.

I don't like booing I've got to be honest, but I think the fanbase have reached a tipping point, not helped by Tim's own comments and acerbic nature.

Acun needs to realise he's delaying the inevitable now.

He could at least try to help himself.

No it’s not, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show your emotions about it (up to a point) - otherwise you might not find that balance and investment when things are going well.

And as I say, some people need football to forget about the most important things going on in their lives and if they see it being handled badly - I can understand the frustration.

But I completely agree about the anger levels in the world, needs toning down.

You're scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

    It's a football forum.

I'll leave you to your ego.

Downed tools? No fight? Not playing for Walter? etc.

Nope, I didn't see that at all. Far from it. Other than, 2nd half, Kamara just didn't seem to actually want the ball, which I guess was down to his confidence gone by then. Tbf though he still made 2 great defensive contributions.

Wednesday were better than I expected. Very well drilled. Big, big strong side, with the exception, Bannan, helping make them tick.

Our movement is so poor. Our patterns are so poor. Our pressing is so poor. Our set pieces are so poor. And we continue to be near toothless in attack.

I'm sure there's other coaches who could be getting more out of this squad, and wonder if it won't be long before the players do actually give up on him (or at least his system), but I didn't see that tonight, nor in previous games. Outfought, bullied, by the bigger, strong, more organised opposition yes, absolutely.
