Yep they've got some quality attacking players and they seem to be clicking Obviously still a long way to go and teams will have ups n downs but looking like a really close promotion race
I agree, I know I refer to it more than I should but their data has been brilliant all season. If you dominate games and create chance after chance week in week out the results will eventually come and they are. Would’ve loved us to sign Azaz he’s a great player and a bargain for them.
Azaz is just a proper footballer isn't he, last few games he's been on a different level Yep I always look at performances more than results at the start of the season and they were always impressive but just not clinical There recruitment last few windows has been superb
Yeah he was really good business wasn’t he, £2m is a bargain.. maybe got him so cheap because of the relationship they have with the club regarding other transfers ie Archer, Ramsay, Morgan etc? Glad we aren’t playing them at the minute mind
Yeah posted in the other thread. They have clicked into gear big time. They have had some canny investment to be fair and the squad is very solid. Good options across many positions.
Carrick linked to West Ham today if he goes it could de-rail it but aye they look very good atm be right up there
Didn’t realise Burnley had kept 8 clean sheets in the last 10 games mind. Keep up that kind of defensive solidarity and leave it down to nicking a single goal to win games they’ll have a good chance come the end of the season. Most of them against poorer teams mind, got a “difficult” lead up to Xmas think we’ll see how good their defence is.
Somebody made a post about them about a month ago. I cant remember who now, but basically saying they havent got the greatest of squads and WBA and Norwich were even better. I knew it would only be a matter of time before they turned things around. I hate Boro, but it pains me to say they are very very strong. Its them and Leeds who worry me most.
Boro gone the other way now. Were over creative and not scoring start of the season. Now their xG numbers are a lot lower. They’ve out scored xG by almost 9 goals the last 3 games. But interesting to see if they’ll stay that clinical
West Ham had scouts at their last match watching Latte Lath so hopefully they'll come in for him in Jan
Same mate, I really like what boro have done in the last couple of transfer windows They seem to have some depth, they can be inconsistent though so that might stop them finishing top 2
I still can't see past Leeds and Sheff Utd as top 2. Boro will be third. Then 4th, 5th and 6th are up for grabs.
Yeah their squad strength is very good. Hayden Hackneys been missing a while now and they've not missed him one bit. The local news around here is theres a Flu bug hit their squad this week so hopefully that will effect them against Blackburn
Surely Hull sack Walter now. No win since October 1st now. Lost 0-2 to Sheff Wed tonight with home fans chanting for the sacking.
