I didn't put it very well, I was meaning WTF has it to do with Musk and anyone else who aren't British? I've read a couple of articles about it and it definitely says Musk was in on it at the start plus one other non Brit. Wasn't trying to have a pop Ric.
You should perhaps choose more accurate reading material. It was a pub landlord from Brum that started it. The petition site is run by the UK government and has several checks and balances to reduce the risk of manipulation. You can download the data to see where people are voting from, and they have to include their post code and email address, which are validated.
Haven't you hear of his new venture with X Pubs? There were 769 ex-Pubs created in the UK last year. I'll get my coat.
I remember one of these petitions after the Brexit referendum - about 4 million people signed that demanding a second referendum. Guess what it meant - **** all. Of course the people who signed that 'couldn't accept democracy' etc. or were 'stamping their little feet' etc.
The Velar and the F Pace are the same car, save for a few bits and bobs and a lick of paint. We ended up with a Velar, mainly down to the poor deal and delivery on the F Pace. The Missus wanted the Jag because she loves the badge. I said we'll get one on the next trade in. I daren't tell her that they're dropping the badge and discontinuing the whole range!
Unless there was two, this was the one I recall. https://petition.parliament.uk/archived/petitions/131215
If there was a referendum tomorrow, knowing how it's turned out, would the British public vote for Brexit again?
Really tough to call accurately. I think Remain (or more accurately return) could win but it's a different argument these days and would depend on the deal etc. If it were to happen, I'd try and weigh both sides up, like I did last time.
They may share a lot of the same running gear, but the Velar is better made and I prefer the interior. My daughter bought a E Pace and it had a recurring fault, after having in for repair eight times (for exactly the same fault), they told her they wouldn’t repair it under warranty any more. She kicked off, as they’d obviously have to and in the end they took it back and she got a Discovery Sport instead.
