Howe never was rte elite manager we needed. Hes a good manager but not elite. We get to this stage of things and the fans that keep accepting that after spending 100’s of millions we should be making progress. Howe isn’t going to take us to that next level. But maybe we won’t ever get to that level. I guess we maybe have to accept that we are average at best. And always will be.
How the **** are we still watching Trippier, Wilson, Murphy, Schar and we've then managed to add Barnes and Kelly?! Laughable senior management. What a terrible couple of years of non-leadership we've had. It's like Llambias and Charnley never left.
I think it’s getting stale. The players are in a nice place and it’s not helping. If PIF are serious about things we need to get more professional and we need an elite manager. If they are not and they just want an average manager to finish top 9 then we have the man. We won’t win anything with this setup.
That's rather OTT. Yes, we've not defended well tonight and at the other end missed a few chances. Maybe when Botman and Burn are available they'll make a difference. West Ham have defended well tonight. It happens. We might pick up plenty points in the next month.
I think today was a. Opportunity for Howe to set his stall. He failed it. We won’t win anything with him. He’s to nice. He’s to safe. He sees systems in basics and if works at mid levels. But elite managers have the knack for making big calls. Howe never will.
It’s not mate. It’s blind not accepting the fact. Howe is a good manager. But nice good managers don’t win trophies. Hes not an elite manager. But then we are not an elite club.
