<laugh> proved his credentials because the two that came after were even more disastrous? ... Bob the Nodding Dog could have won that General Election for the Tories ...

... and any way you look at it, she is still better qualified to be Chancellor than Jeremy Hunt was ...

Jeremy Hunt steadied and turned around our economy which was decimated and the thief has come in and set us back again.

So much whataboutery and look over there when faced with how bad this government is doing. They’re doing so bad that just four month after winning one of the biggest ever landslides, the Tories have now been made favourites for the next election already <rofl>

Look at reform…. I’m astonished. I’d have thought they’d have fallen right off by now. They’re continuing to gain ground. The Libs are the Libs and they’re stuck on about 12%.

Reform are now polling about 20% with Labour and the Tories about mid 20’s.

If he 'steadied and turned around our economy', just think how big the financial black hole the useless Tories left for Labour would have been without him ... mind blowing...

    Riddance ...

Just a mere guess, I expect the reason Reform would do well is that people are disheartened with the Tories and Labour, so they are looking around for someone to vote for, when asked in ridiculous polls, maybe. As it is at the moment, I just wouldn't vote for anyone if asked the question, having voted Labour in the last election and Tory before that. However, Labour need the full 4/5 years before they can really be judged. I think the petition I've seen on twitter is nowt more than a laugh and that's all it can ever be. I don't think Reform though are anywhere near winning an election, ever! Although one word of caution to that, if Farage is buddying up with Trump, powers that be, will come into play to push the Reform narratives, and this is where I say as I always do, let sleeping dogs lie, because the more you make them a focus of attention, especially those that hate them, the more it has a habit of biting them on the arse....see Trump Round 2 for evidence of that...Populism I think it's called.

I notice Musk and Farage were behind the petition calling for another election…

Im worried about reform. I like to use them for banter but I don’t want them anywhere near running our country. Look at Romania today, biggest shock ever after the polls had the guy in front on only 5% and he’s on the verge of winning now. He’s ‘far right’, anti-EU and pro-Putin. That is now Hungary and Romania out there cozying up to Russia. There’s absolutely still a right wing wave covering Europe and it’s not showing any signs of slowing down. This is why I wouldn’t rule out Farage, if backed by Trump and Musk. Musk especially can push the immigrant rhetoric like no other across social media and there’s plenty of people to lap it up.

So concerned about a 22 billion black hole, they came in and give another 40 billion to well paid train drivers and teachers <laugh>

If you pull the other one it’s got bells on it!

I saw the petition but had no idea who was behind it, I shouldn't be surprised that Farage and Musk are behind but I am, which as you allude is not good for the future. I'm sort of in the middle of this, I'm not far right, a closet Green lol...well Liberal actually, but I am anti-EU (not anti-Europe) and that last bit rules out the Liberals for me. So I'm fooked and surrounded by fooking idiots. <laugh> But like you suggest about Social Media it is the problem and why we are getting so many wacky outcomes around the world. People don't learn though, the more you hate the more it will breed, when you learn to ignore something, then that is the answer.

The Treasury Department who now work for Reeves have stated There was no unseen Black Hole only the £20b gap that was pointed out to her when she claimed everything was fully costed

There is a gap which was a seperate fund approx £9b which was set aside for some presumed future needs, this was used in the aftermath of COVID and dealing with the outfall from Russias Invasion of Ukraine

Even her own Department is calling her in polite terms of course A lying two faced ***** (fill in yourself)

If a Tory Chancellor had pulled what she has done after making all the promises she made leading up to the Election, WW111 would have broken out in England making previous riots look like Morris Dancing

Mind you that is minor in actual scale to what Leicester Football Club did to its local businesses, all a matter of scale you understand
