Following on from yesterdays who wants to be a millionaire not so bright contestant, today the chase one goes middle 4 grand and goes out, 3 take the low offer (non were bcc) and 2 of those just scrape home. Is people's level of general knowledge getting worse?
Luck of the draw I think. The questions can be a little esoteric or specialised sometimes so contestants can often only guess, age plays a big part too. Having said that tonight's were pretty uninspiring.
I've noticed that lately,along with the low adventurous type that take the low offers,especially when someone's just risked their cut by going high.There was a woman on last week who went for the high offer of £67k after the first one won their £5k. Between the next 2 they managed to whittled it down to £50k between the 4 of them...
`£50k won between 4 is better than nothing because some got knocked out by taking risks? It's dead easy sitting at home saying go high and entertain me, in the room when there's real money at stake it's different. I was one of many on here who mocked BCC for going low, but in the who had the last laugh? Have to say, I do find The Chase irresistible, bit sad really
