Pickford was assaulted today on the park but thr foul was completely missed I find it highly ironic that var sent the ref to the screen and managed to get the decision right in the end.
Thought was absolute stone wall red. I was amazed on motd that they all thought it wasn’t. I get sliding in to try score but he put his studs into the keepers knee. If that was any outfield player I don’t think anyone would be arguing
Salah blows the doors off lfc season and contract non negotiations. He's clearly now stated exactly where the situation lies after intimating before thst he was in last year. The official word is he's got no offer. With no offer he says he is disappointed and more out than in at this point. There will be a major uprising midweek with the fans imo. They know the midweek gsme actually.means nothing given the start we got so I fully now expect a serious backlash at Hughes and fsg.
Yes, it seems like he is ****ing dying to extend and we haven't even put an initial offer on the table! Even if it was to decrease his wage by 1/3 and extend for 2 years - it's a start whether it's rejected or not. One of the best players on earth and we don't seem ****ed. Mental.

Fair play to him. Wants to keep his relationship with the fans. He really comes across like he loves the club anfield and the fans and wants it to be known it’s not him putting any blockers on things or pushing the club for more money etc. every fan will be fully behind him and will be serious questions asked of management if he’s let go on a free. The only thing I can think is the club are confident he wants to stay so are putting vvd and TAA ahead of him in negotiations on the hope that Salah will be done quick but just doesn’t make much sense as you’d think get him signed and sealed and a statement to the other 2 when you compare that to the silence from TAA about his contract and can see why fans think he’s already gone
For me this says salah has been waiting to hear and his last agent update didn't please him at all. The club has come.out right away this morning and said talks are ongoing which is a non denial. The player has now said his bit so I expect the fans to make it very known what their opinion of this is on Wednesday night. Fsg put and singing mo salah song all night.
Yes. An agent that is a good actor and has never done anything but what his player wants. Whereever the talks are at they are clearly informal with no offer coming out of them I can only conclude salah has made his position clear and the sticking points must be also fairly clear. if the club has not made anything counter responses to let salah know what those are then how can the be resolved.
350k a week given 1.5 years ago. Big fan fare and massive amounts of shirts etc sold on having him as the club star Season 1 30 goals and 16 assists in 51 games Season 2 25 goals and 14 assists in 44 games. Season 3 so far 12 goals and 10 assists in 18 games. If the club are thinking they didn't get a return on the investment of 45million in wages then they really don't need elite players at the club
I mentioned in another thread I thought Leicester should have had 2 straight reds in their game Vs Chelsea but yellows only.
Left back it's starting to look a dodgy position for us, Robbo just seems a yard or two slower and Tsimikas lacks real quality.
My point is that there's more than one side to the story. It's easy to just claim that the club are doing nothing, but if Mo is getting antsy about it his agent should be banging on the door to make things happen. If it turns out that the club is stonewalling (note correct usage of that term here), then the agent ought to be looking to move him elsewhere. He's certainly still got enough in him for one last lucrative move. I feel that something must be ongoing, but there's not enough to be reported yet.
I'm sure they have no shortage of offers. He could do a matip with a serious injury on his side and on the clubs side if Hughes let a top player run down his contract at Bournemouth he'd be fired. Why is he being allowed do this unless fsg are directing it. The correct term would be gaslighting the player. Stringing them along to keep the same wage and not give extra until absolutely necessary.
G Just a note on his agent. I think he started as a lawyer /advisor and resisted being an agent. He also only works for Salah and represents no one else.
I think that take is fine, but also be nice to let the guy know that we're looking at it, or if we aren't tell him he'll be surplus - it's not just any old player, he's given us everything.
