You obviously have a higher opinion of the quality of English centre backs than me haha. I see what you mean about Capello though.

    Good ol' Lee.

6 weeks in better than the rest of the season.

Still a bit bloody scary though

That's a relief, Lee Ryder's usually accurate with things.

Well 6 weeks is awful, but a massive relief after that season-long injury rumour.

If Colo is back for Swansea (hopefully Norwich) then we could cope up until Jan - but need a new CB still. Colo + Perch / Williamson v Norwich, Swansea, West Brom and Bolton should still return some decent points.

Those 6 weeks would cover the following games; Norwich away, Swansea at home, West Brom at home, Bolton away, Liverpool away, Man Utd at home. Possibly QPR at home.

Not so worried about the first 4 games without Saylor.

Williamson should be back before the fixture list piles up, him and Colo is a good enough partnership to see us through til Saylor's fit.

Surely action can be taken against that sort of miserable journalism? Imagine if they ran a story on, say, an actor and said that their career had just taken a massive blow and they won't be doing anything for the next year. They'd be sued quicker than you could say 'Daily Star'.

Good point - to be completely honest I wouldn't know who to pick!

I'd probably have Jones + someone!! as my first choice.

****, we can't be left with Perch and Raylor in defence, thats like championship standard!

    Get Corluka and Alex in!!

    Both are complete ****!

I thought we were done with the Chelsea cast-offs - seeing as none of them have ever played well for us (with the possible exception of Parker)

  15. I'm more worried than ever about the injuries, because we were all looking forward to 4 very winnable games coming up, but since we've lost our defenders, we may not get the results.

If Colo is only out for a week or two and Willo is back very soon we may still do okay. They're still very winnable games.

This is exactly what I'm saying. If we can get lucky with Colo for next week and Pardew grows some brains and ball and goes wit Santon and Colo I'll be confident we win them. If we get unlucky with Colo and he goes with Perch and **** knows who WERE ****ED.

This is my worry too. The next four games with Colo and Saylor would have been so much easier. May struggle now.
