Farewell to Elfs Even a post by Grapevine didn’t feel as long as the duration of his 90 day UK visa, but we wish our 0.5 of a member well as he returns Ryan Air Economy Class on his 20 hour flight back home. A lack of leg room won’t be an issue… Credit where it’s due, Elfs also managed to attend more Charlton games in the last 90 days than some Moderators manage in 5 years

To all my chums on here....and @Charles No Likes Hawtrey, arrived in Recife last night at 22.00 and 27 degrees. Just settling down to café da manhã (breakfast), easily 30 degrees. Looking forward to collecting our four legged friend tonight. Tchau.
Early introduction back to life here. Trying to have a quiet breakfast and a family next to us had two little s**** running around screaming. The daughter ran into me and I just stood there holding my breakfast and looked up at the table and the parents were laughing. Brazilians have no f****** respect or self awareness.
To a rapturous welcome no doubt. When we went on holiday for16 days the cat welcomed us back with 4 jobbies on the floor. Cattery next time.
Our pooch has been going for a walk at 5am each day. I had to take her out at 6 as she was getting restless. Am glad we have floor tiles
