Brazil have hit on this bright idea of prosecuting a former president who attempted to stage a coup after losing an election
No, seriously, where is the conversation about Gladiator II removing Palestinian actress May Calamawy from the film entirely? Will we have it after Pedro Pascal suddenly stops getting acting gigs?
Just a thought: maybe don't allow an RAF spy plane to collect intelligence when the person you're collecting intelligence for received an arrest warrant for war crimes a few hours earlier It has the bad habit of making you look complicit in those same war crimes please log in to view this image
A divergence between the USA and the UK. The UK says it will honour its duty to the ICC arrest warrant. The USA says it does not recognise the ICC's jurisdiction. Let's see if the UK backtracks. I will be pleasantly surprised if it doesn't.
Of course it will backtrack....sadly. US administrations have long since nailed it's colours proudly to the Israeli mast, so was to be expected, but for Biden to call the ICC adjudication 'outrageous' was particularly disgusting. Hopefully, Netanyahu will choose Italy or Spain for his next holiday!
I don't think that it will have to backtrack. He just won't do anything that would put it into effect.
"I can't wait to tell all these stories of corruption, treason, and betrayal. Coming soon." - Matt Gaetz on Twatter. Yeah, right. You'll just post some bullshit about the opposition, you noncy pussy.
Unless on his way to America his plane is diverted to London because of? Take your pick, Bomb scare?, Weather?, Palestinian pilot?, or as is usually the case: Pilot error.
The interesting thing about the BBC is that both sides are fully convinced that it shows favouritism to the 'other' side. Which I suppose shows it might be doing something right.
Haven't gotten round to watching the film yet and probably won't as it is supposed to be tripe, but I've read that Scott was keen to keep the total run time below an already hefty 2.5 hours and test audiences fed back that adding a love interest into the Lucius v Macrinus character arc wasn't necessary and added half an hour to the film. Do they give out tin foil hats with the popcorn in Croydon Grants?
Here's two things I do not believe for a second i.) Ridley Scott wanting his films to be under a certain length ii.) Ridley Scott hearing any form of feedback that could be construed as criticism and not reacting like a big, bearded baby
Agreed, but it is hardly newsworthy to hear that an actor didn't make the final cut of a film. It happens the entire time. Why do we jump straight to conspiracy theory instead of applying Occam's Razor? What you're doing is the same thing you constantly accuse the likes of Baddiel and Oberman of: getting upset about problems that probably aren't real.
Name three films where someone announced as a major character had their scenes purged completely You can't, can you? Probably because actors announced as lead characters only tend to have their scenes pared back after shooting due to either dying during production (i.e. Brandon Lee in The Crow, Oliver Reed in Gladiator, Vic Morrow in Twilight Zone: The Movie, or Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) or removed completely due to a career-ending misdemeanour (i.e. Kevin Spacey in All the Money in the World) Also, FYI, the reason you gave for her scenes being cut simply isn't true: the character was not a love interest for Lucius, indeed one of the script editors for the film outlined the character had no major interactions with Lucius at all, instead they were a former concubine who Denzel Washington's character was training to be an assassin It's also worth noting that Denzel Washington has drawn attention to the fact a scene was cut where his character kisses a man, and I haven't seen anyone fabricating any easily-disproved reasons for that being unceremoniously dispatched to the cutting room floor Maybe don't believe everything you read on the internet, eh?
https://screenrant.com/famous-actors-cut-film-roles-explained/ Took ten seconds to find that. Your version of the story was also gleaned from the internet. What's the difference?
