I agree but my point still stands, he just fell, no moving of his feet to try to get across his goal. The ball wasn’t exactly travelling. Given his stats when the ball is on target, he is either poor or unlucky, neither of which is much use.

    Leeds positions in the Championship.

2011/12 Championship. 14th. Won 17, Lost 19. GD -3. Conceded 7 at home to Forsst who finished 19th.

    2012/13 Championship. 13th. Won 17, Lost 19. GD -9

2013/14 Championship. 16th. Won 16, Lost 21. GD -8. Had the pleasure of losing 1-5 to Bolton at home and 6-0 at Sheff Wed.

    2014/15 Championship. 15th. Won 15, Lost 20. GD -11

    2015/16 Championship. 13th. Won 14, Lost 15. GD -3

2016/17 Championship. 7th. Won 23, Lost 15. GD +14 (Great season by our standards but even then our manager was forced out in the summer and replaced by dross)

    2017/18 Championship. 13th. Won 17, Lost 20. GD -5

Then we had the pleasure of Bielsaball and the success that came with it. I, however, will not forget the dross and ownership issues we had during the above seasons so yeah, I'm going to try and look on this season (and last) as positively as i can. I'd much rather be where we are now than where we were 10 years ago.

I'm quite the contented fan at the moment.

Both us and Middlesbrough battered the blunts. Table doesn’t always tell you who the best sides are.Even at the end the season never mind at this stage when you’ve not played everyone. Best sides are us and Boro in my view. If football was ‘fair’ we’d be clear as the top two. People in the game understand that - lots of fans don’t. That’s why opposition managers praise us - because they generally understand what they’re watching. Well that and it gives them a good excuse for losing <laugh>

    Enjoy the Guinness bud <cheers>

    No surprise your a southener.
Yorkshire puddings should be flat, baked in a large oven tray, eaten with gravy, before your roast beef veg etc.
This is done so you feel fuller before eating the main course of meat, thus saving money on a large piece of beef. True yorkie style.
Also can be eaten as pudding with treacle.
To solve your problem with puffy restaurant type puds,
Get oven VERY HOT, I mean max
Put half a teaspoon ish of lard in each well of baking tray, put into oven till they are just about smoking, then only half fill each well with yorkie batter, stick straight back in oven.
Do not open oven to check on them, no problem if they are crispy on the outside and a bit soggy in the middle..
    A bit like wakey's birds?

Good selection today against a side that plays a high line… times his runs and uses his pace well in those circumstances. Likeable player always tries hard. Wouldn’t be my choice as best player.

Hes not our best but he might just be our most underrated.

I think Ampadu might be our best player. Tanaka might run him close if he carries on as he has started.

Sorry, have to disagree with this. After a 46 game season the best two teams in the division go up. It doesn’t matter that we beat Leicester & Ipswich twice because ultimately we couldn’t beat seven of the last eleven teams we played against whereas they could. So we bashed up Sheffield United but they are level on points with us despite a points deduction.

Exactly right and for that reason there is literally nothing separating top four. Same as last season

Yes though they’ve played different teams than us and had a bit more luck. The table tells you the most successful teams not necessarily the best. Appreciate some see it differently

There likely will be come May. There were 4 teams clearly better than the rest last season. Not sure that’s the case this season, though I do think the table has taken shape. Current top 6 prob are the best 6 sides though there’s a few mid table sides who could make a run if they find consistency.
