Feel sorry for Russell Martin because it’s not the tactics that are the problem, it’s the plebs at the back trying to implement them. Two dreadful goals to give away

That's a filthy little finish tbf. Keeper made Salahs mind up for him but still class. Big centre half kept him onside

 

Really good game this, as much as I criticised Southampton they’re good fun as a neutral

 

Amad could be starting as a RWB for United if Amorim sticks to his usual 3-4-2-1

 

I reckon Utd will batter them. They clearly wouldn't play for Ten Haag and got their fingers out for RVN.

... Doyle, Sanderson, Broadhead, Simms, etc.

Hear me out here… was reading a bit of a debate around whether or not he’s world class and someone he was compared to was Hazard.

Absolutely can’t argue with Salahs figures they’re incredible, identical to Henry. But for me I thought Hazard just had that something that other players didn’t, he could pick up the ball and beat 5 men then score a goal from nothing. Salah is just a goal scoring machine I don’t think he has that special something that some of the greats have.

I don't think Clarke has started many games for Ipswich either. I have a quick look every now and again and he seems to be mainly in the bench and brought on for the last 20mins

 

I thought Sanderson would have been an okay premier league centre half but just never seemed to kick on, think Doyle will go on to be a premier player the rest probably careers in the championship

 

Think Broadhead was alright last season but god knows where he is don’t think he’s kicked a ball this season has he?
