as per usual you have the wrong end of the stick . Benarous signed a deal for x number of years at an agreed salary .. if he had only signed for 1 or 2 then he would be out of contract and still unable to play! Never said a new contract for Benarous we are talking about TC AND HIS NOT SIGNING

whether we make top 6 or not this season our squad is getting quite well toward gelling. Mehetmi is starting to flourish and if he continues to will go up in value and in danger then of running his contract down. we have made good money in the past because players we have sold still had contracts probably 8 players of present squad should be on at least 3 plus 1 contracts when this season ends!
We bumped into a couple of (very) drunk Brentford fans last night - they had been to the darts and were on their way back from Ally Pally. We talked a bit about football and they remarked about City ‘You are always around 11th in the league. It takes a special skill to end up in the same position every season!!’ Annoying, but true.
