http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16002583.stm Very supportive assessment from Hansen on the appointment of MON
Yet another great article... It's a great feeling to have a manager in the mould of Martin O'Neill at Sunderland.
As much as I hate(but am pleased on this occasion) to say it these pundits are pundits because the tend to get things more right than wrong. If Hansen would be happy for MON to take over at Liverpool then that is a hell of an endorsement in my eyes.
I've not actually seen anyone of note speaking in other than very positive terms about our new gaffer, lets hope in time he can help us all fulfil our ambitions for the club. Mine remain realistic; to become an established top 8 side and competitive in all cup competitions, perhaps sneaking the add trophy here or there. That would do me, anything more would be superb.
This. To not be constantly knocked out by league 2 teams would be awesome! Always happened under Keane, and under Bruce. A premiership teaming knocking us out in the later stages would please me. Just to not know that coming up on the might of Solihull Moors and being knocked out by them would be nice.
I've still got a smile a mile wide and a cock stiffer than a concrete post. It may be a while until I can sit down properly. Lol
The thing about Hansen is, working alongside him for TV he will grasp more of MONs football feelings in their conversations off camera. And no mention of dummy spitting either, I would love to know where that came from he was being undermined at Villa just before the start of a season.
You must be light headed by now Cest not just because of the general euphoria around MON but given how long you have been sustaining that level of personal excitement.
