    Impossible... they said.
We'll be fortunate to get away with our hides... they said.
    4 - 1 drubbing, if we're lucky... they said.

    But,
that's what you get when you make us play serious football. :emoticon-0137-clapp

    Well played the lads.

More Pep hubris than anything IMHO.

He knows Spurs can play, but managing a
Sugga Daddy FC makes him believe his
    team will always prevail.

Which is why you get the "Harry Kane team" etc
when the results do not go his way.

    From the BBC

    FT: Man City 0-4 Tottenham

Pep Guardiola has lost more games as a manager against Tottenham than against any other team - nine.

I think we’ve learned that City rely on Rodri. And Dias. And that Walker is past it. And that they lack creativity without de Bruyne. They need these players fit and on form.
Spurs are an enigma. Brilliant and shyte in equal measure. Like Rory McIlroy in Majors. Shoot a 65, then follow it with a 78, before scoring a 68.

Once Pep is gone and the oil money pipe is throttled *** ,
no doubt the content of all those threads will fit on an
A4 page printed in 12 pt font.

*** you need oil to make plastic(s)

I had'nt realised you were without Romero as well as VdV and when i told Mrs Solid she went "thats the game then " and in a moment of prescience i said "maybe not as i assume they won't play that suicidal high line but that won't effect their attacking threat and anyway they for some reason they have Citys number "
Only saw the first half listened to the second in between cheering / laughing

We must have more diversity in our goalscorers than most teams.

Ange has shown twice in quick succession v City that he can be pragmatic and tactically astute when he wants to be.

I have no idea why we can't do that in more games. Our pace and directness on the break will terrify most teams. Doesn't need to be for the entire duration, but in patches here and there when a game is running away from us, just drop into the holding patterns we saw today, take the sting out of it and take back control.
