The very fact we can find billions to pursue this Net Zero sham whilst persecuting farmers, OAPs and the rest of the population at large soeaks volumes about this governments priorities
You only have to look at this COP nonsense
America, India and China aren’t there and those countries continue to use fossil fuels to a massive degree
    Because…..
It gives them energy security !
Let’s hope that Starmer and co see sense and follow suit, but I’m not convinced

every ounce of carbon we dont generate gives those that do a longer time frame to continue

the world will not stop until all the oil and gas coal etc has been used up .... some countries in a hundred years will be completing decades of "time without fossil fuels" whilst those ignoring it now will be getting to benefit from the alternatives derived since now

BRISTOL CITY council is now asking for " ideas and ways to plug the massive gap in finances left by the last Labour mayor of Bristol" I posted a year ago the £50,000,000 i reckoned on MARV had wasted ... seems was more and now we have to pay.

Well 1 thing we need to get rid of is the transport department that has wasted £000.000's on failed road projects, and also department for failed building projects chasing an arena etc

cut out all the luxuries the council fund for staff .. jollies etc etc

A recent rise of 52% in the cost of allotments is because they need to employ another person! Well over the past 5 years at least they have collected £000,000's in rent and given very little if anything back on my allotment they given nothing people are giving them up as rents to expensive and each time the replacement people are only lasting a matter of a few visits because each plot that gets abandoned becomes harder for the next one.....

the council needs holding to task we had a Labour mayor a labour metro mayor and a labour council ... they have always increased yearly tax and have been gifted £ million and millions from the sale of Bristol AIRPORT . THE PROMISED reduction in council tax was never given and the money just dissapeared

Labour governments and local councils are inept and I can’t for the life of me see why people vote for them, as all they do is waste our money.

The citizens of our major cities clearly don’t understand what they are voting for ! That’s why all of them are now cesspits, and are all flat broke.

There is a breaking news story in the Express that Bristol City Council now want to raise Council Tax by up to 5% (surprise surprise) and to make up for their inability to run a budget properly, they want to reduce black rubbish bin collections to just once a month !!

They should be carrying out weekly collections and stop wasting our money on DEI hires and potty schemes to appease minorities.

The argument is they want to make Bristol a cleaner place - unbelievable !! Stuff like this brought down the Labour Government in the 70’s when bins weren’t being emptied and the dead weren’t being buried. Let’s hope history repeats itself

In the States, Elon Musk will be looking at all bloated Government departments who cost the US taxpayer vast sums of money and its part of Trumps plan to drain the swamp
He’s hoping to save the US up to 2 trillion dollars over the next 4 years ! That’s serious money, and if anyone can do it, then you wouldn’t bet against Elon Musk.

If only we had someone like that to come in and for starters get rid of the 66,000 extra Civil Servants that were taken on during lockdown to cope with the excess admin. Why are those people still even employed ? We’d all be far better off with a much much smaller state and if we lost half of all the jobs in Government, no one would be any the wiser. And it would save on the vast final salary pensions too. You’d think the left would want a more efficient workforce. There are 500.000 Civil Servants in this country costing us nearly 50% of GDP

It’s exactly what the guy in Argentina has achieved too. Cut out the waste everywhere in a Government, stop them being so intrusive into people’s lives, and let people get on with it, and we might actually make some progress as a nation

So Labour, and Milliband in particular are allegedly saviours of the planet and want to dictate our lives, including where we may and may not travel, what we eat (anti dairy and meat) and making us pay for the most expensive electricity on the planet

Why then, did they see fit to send 470, yes that’s 470 delegates to Azerbaijan for the COP summit, especially when no other major nations attended ?

Have they never heard of Zoom calls rather than physically attending and burning all that jet fuel ?

    Absolute hypocrites !

finally Joe Biden GIVES THE GO AHEAD! is this a good thing or a bad thing?
There is growing movement anti Putrid/ kremlin feeling in RUSSIA, some of the targets being hit are informed to UKR via disgruntled local Russians, along with a high % of deserters of Russian soldiers. Numerous small attacks by anti Kremlinites sabotage a number of facilities aiding the military in various parts ALL over Russia.

Rumour was posted France and UK have both given go ahead to storm shadows for deeper penetration into Russia but only for military sites. If the partisan movement is as active as has been intimated then could be quite successful... maybe an attack on The "the bridge" road and rail might be on the cards .. at the Hague an argument is still going on that the bridge is illegal and should be removed...I DOUBT much would happen if a few spans crashed into the black sea ..............

Well the England "B" team did well 8 goals in 2 match's although 5 were against a team of 10! amazingly 4 05 ...ex City players got a game over the past few days! .... funny old world funny old game!

PMQ's once again no answers to Q's by .gov ... same old 14 years we are fighting a ficticious £22bn black hole and only a co incidence that we are targeting the people likely not going to vote labour!
However, what AR doesnt say / didnt say was that they had a smaller vote number .... [ so a lot of Labour voters actually voted elsewhere or didnt ] than the 2019 election, they actually got into power with a very very low % of the population actually picking them, placing a " X ".
In the face of so many " experienced and quality trained "monetary and fiscal bodies" they are still in denial, they .gov, are right and they are all wrong even though it was pointed out, about the umteenth time! Rattlesnake is not who she purported be regarding her CV and being an expert economist! story coming out is she handled disgruntled customer complaints and dis attend a course at some point to add to her CV!

GOOD NEWS... I am an economist, I budget for a lot of things and can see into the future... if I dont get it right all will collapse! MY CV for this is uuuummm well I did do a course on advising people to take out finance, so had a licence ......OH yea sold pensions and life cover with investments etc .. had a licence for that uuuuuuuumm OH yea since age 18 had own house and families so provided roof' and food ... beside heating and financial funding for off springs... wonder if I could get a job in the BOE or as a Fiscal advisor probably not, because my CV is the truth............. suppose I could modify it..............LOL

I think the timing stinks with Trump taking office in a couple of months

If they were going to do it, and use NATO weapons to strike targets in Russia, then it should have happened a couple of years ago imho

The Biden administration and our own Government have done nothing to try and broker a peace deal ever since the war began.

All the US have done is throw money at it, which hasn't gone down well with the American taxpayers, and understandably so.

I take your point about the timing. In relation to a peace deal, that’s up to Ukraine to decide surely, Russia has already annexed Crimea and now has forceable taken even more land. Would we accept it if France decided it wanted Cornwall for instance.

We (the west) stood idly by and watched Putin annexe Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, or whenever it was.
If we had shown Putin some strength back then, and said 'no you don't' then maybe tens or hundreds of thousands of lives on both sides might have been saved when there was a full blown invasion ?

Absolutely, if we don’t do that now though we’ll be in the same position again in a few years when Russia uses the territory gained this time to push on even further.

is the net closing ... will the rattlesnake loose her head and be demoted maybe instead of "chancellor of the exchequer" to attempted to be one, but my lying CV found me out so now a clerk at the HOUSES of PARLIAMENT TEA ROOM

The Shadow Paymaster General, Richard Holden, wrote to the Chancellor earlier this week asking her to shed light on the matter of her previous job titles.
Mr Holden also queried whether Ms Reeves would release a 'full, unedited CV', and added that 'the allegations that your CV might not be accurate are incredibly serious'.
'(They) would raise significant concerns about your ability to be honest with the British public, concerns which your Budget has already raised'.

Most ministers are appointed with no previous experience of the post they are appointed to. Mischief making that’s all this is, understandable I guess.

Why are we still giving vast sums of money to other countries, such as Brazil, when our own economy is tanking

    Trump says America first

Wish someone in our Government would say Britain first

well, agree some ministers not got any experience... or even knowledge! ... but are able to do the job as it is usually less committing to a basic set of task's ...

But here you have a very important job it is commital and you need to know what is the big picture,,, like make a decision and know and research the wider picture.
Well 2 tier Harmer is the king of hindsight does/says something then has to reverse his thinking at some point. Having rattlesnake as Chancellor there is 2 things wrong.
    1) ... true to form he has not done any research, research to find out about the people he is putting in place! as a lawyer he would deal with all the info his minions has collected and proceed to make a case based on that!
    2) ... he is a weak figure head and those around him have been for a long time so able to appear to be best fits for the way forward whether they round pegs or square pegs he fits them into holes whether correct or wrong ones!
Rattlesnake, well she has had all the wrong training .. as it unfurls she was nothing like an economist.. pretty much far from it! her claim to fame [ and so far a in 5 month's ] seems to proving the CV is not worth the paper it is written on. How can [ and at the moment they doubting it very strongly ] Fiscal entities believe her, LET alone the British public, calling out the last .gov as liars and charlotans, now she is a hypocrite in the thickest soup you can imagine.
2 TIER Harmer was asked " you do know that the removal of the heating allowance is going to kill an extra few 000's and cause the NHS to have a busy winter looking after x number that make it to hospital" answer was along the lines of ............. 14 years and £22bn [ fictiticious ] blackhole a broken NHS and broken economy .........

PM [ Question continued ] .do you think you will be able sleep to sleep with all those casualties? answer we have to repair the economy [ or words to that effect!]
SO KS, RR & YC dont mind having a few death's attributed to them.. bit like Putrid and his meat grinder approach with his citizens . blow you I am alright Jack!

Just been playing around with some figures and the sneakyness of it all ..... NIC's

part time is usually defined as [ 15/]16 hours!
on minimum wage that is now around £9,500 per year . blimey I remember a few years ago when £10k was an average annual wage with a bit of OT! ...... but below NIC or in the range to pay maybe £100 to be paid
77p extra next year means another £650 to be accounted for so would have gone up to maybe another £100 ... so about £3.50 for an employer!

now the sneaky bit still working on Part time [ helps couples with kids single parent etc ]
16 hours gets £11.44 so £9518 SO EMPLOYER PAYS about £1 per week!
16 hours gets £12 ph so £9984 so employer now pays about £2. 50 ish per week ops No wrong ............ its now £15 per week

for an employer with a 40 hour week now about £38 pw
    NEXT YEAR ... £58 PW.......

DOESNT SEEM A LOT but if you employ 14,000 .... FIRST BUS THATS AN EXTRA £280,000 PER WEEK! and that is the minimum oh about £15,000,000 PER YEAR
