    Everyone says he's a 10, and clearly thats where Pardew wants him to fit, but in Hatem's defence, he really doesn't have experience in that position, and I don't think the team (or he) knows how to get the most out of him there right now

    Agreed Obertan was worse, but Ben Arfa does not work on the wing therefore had to be Ben Arfa to make way for Shola. Didn't have a right winger to replace Obertan, unless Sammy came on early?

    What're you basing that on? The last two weeks not playing on the wing he worked hard in our own end...arguably too hard on the Richards penalty...
    It's not as if Obertan or Loven offer much in the way of defence as wingers either anyway

    Sorry guy's, HBA just didn't seem to know what to do today. Held the ball well at times but didn't seem to know what to do with it when he had a bit of time and space to cross it.

    HBA was no better to be honest, and he's said a number of times before that he wont play him on the wing.

    To be honest I would have done better on the wing than Obertan.

    HBA can create something out of nothing at any point during the game , Obertan can't and proved me right with his ineffective performance today.

    We just needed that one moment of magic even if he was having a poor shocker.

    True, but I wouldnt say it was a massive error and if we were going to have Shola and Ba up front you'd want a more natural winger on the right rather than HBA who'd just cut inside the entire time. Obertan was poor but we should give him time.

    1) Why did he leave Ben Arfa on the bench the whole game? We saw what Ba could do with his trickery today so Ben Arfa would have caused chaos.

    2) When bringing on the sub , why ****ing wait until the 81st minute. Don't understand it.

    3) Why Alan Smith? Why?

    4) What must Ben Arfa be thinking?

    5) Perch should never play football again. He shouldn't even train with the team anymore.

    This. Pardew gets so much credit that his poor substitutions throughout the course of the season have been overlooked due to our good results.

    Sameobi instead of Ben Arfa is a joke. Ben Arfa should have started ahead of Shola. Best should have started ahead of Shola. I should ****ing start ahead of Shola.
    Smith on? Seriously? ****ing hell. & Ferguson in the last second? If you want to ****ing play Ferguson, play him at LB and Santon at CB so we can get the **** rid of Perch.

    So much anger.
